A good car wax for final coat... Or if it's in pretty good shape just hit it with that.

Can someone post some pics of the bottom spring replacement piece in the sub ohm kit, I'm trying to figure out how it works in my head. Is the spring under it, does it thread in? Is not making sense to me...

Can I tell I a poldiac I'm looking at for sale has the pk low res plastics by looking at a picture, are the all green looking and the regular non pk are black, or do they make black pk plastics?

The MM Vapors pk switch parts are light tan colored. The original non sub ohm parts are black.

Hey guys. Seriously considering a Poldiac.

I'm wanting to subohm on it and want to make sure I'm getting everything I need to not run into any issues.

What do the current new Poldis come with and what do I need extra? I was suggested by a current owner to get the Aname configuration (or full brass) as it provides the lowest volt drop.

Do I need to get other replacement parts to run smoothly? Gonna get extra 'clothes' to match my attys but beyond that I'm stumped.

All new Poldiacs now sold by MMVapors come standard with the low ohm plastic parts and the Rhodium plating over silver plated brass contact parts. They come standard with the best parts they offer. Nothing else is needed.
The Aname or all Brass will have slightly less voltage drop than the Stainless Steel(polished or satin). There is very little difference in the voltage drop between my Stainless Steel and Brass Poldiacs. The new bottom button Nanos has even less voltage drop.

Isn't there a spring upgrade for the Poldiacs? POLDIAC | The "Poldiac" | mmvapors.com

Also, have any of you tested volt drop with say a .2?

I want the side fire option but hard hitting at low subohms is always a concern. My ADV is .1 - .2 and I've been burned by multiple authentics with volt drop claims (looking at you, Flip).

Also, Sleek vs Classic...?

Yes I forgot about the Negative Pole Pin option. What it does is replace the "hot spring" that is between the battery and bottom cap. There is a link to a picture showing how it is used on the MMVapor manual page listed under "Poldiac". This option will lower the voltage drop even more. The small screw that comes with the kit is only used when using a 18350 battery I believe. I put one of these kits in a Poldiac 18650 for a friend and did not use this small screw from the kit.

Where I live we test voltage drop with a 1 ohm coil and a Sony US18650VTC4 battery always so everyone is testing the same thing and we can compare our tests to each other's test.
All of our Poldiacs with our standard test will have a voltage drop of around .08 or .09 volts.
At sub-low ohms the voltage drop will be more I am sure, we just don't test there. Two guys of our group run builds at .2 and they really like the power the Poldiac delivers for them.

My issue now is choosing a configuration...I want to do full brass and Blue Patina the clothes or take the clothes off and do custom carbon fibre clothes. Maybe full brass with SS clothes extra? Ugh.
Did you see the special edition clothes? Some are kinda tacky, but the RMA is kinda cool.

Yeah. The Slot Machine set caught my eye. Been needing luck at the Casinos recently. ;)

I want the Cloud Wizard config but because volt drop is a priority I gotta go woth a brass config but I'm not sure what atty I'd use on it.

The struggle.

I also don't trust my patina skills, sadly.

Oh, and is there any actual difference between classic and sleek?

The classis is the original style of Poldiac and the sleek is the new style of the Poldiac. They are the exact same except for the looks. The classic has the "slots" in the ring above and below the switch and the bottom cap, while the sleek does not have these "slots".
I have one of each style and I change my mind about which one I like the looks of best all the time. One day it is the classic and another day it is the sleek.
Just depends on which one you like the looks of best.
