Hohohhoooo ... We are twins dear :) I actually just built my OverOne today and it is a fine fine RDA I must say.

Your Miriam is every bit as gorgeous as mine was when it first arrived, cheers! Your pics make me want to buy another one :)
Good to hear about the Overone. I just put mine to soak in a bowl of hot soapy water. I'll put a build in it in a bit.

Every time I pick the Miriam up I try to fire it from the bottom.[emoji4]

Well I guess I'm not the only one. I'll pick up my Poldi, and for a second or two, I'm thinking, what the heck, then I realize I'm trying to fire it from the bottom.

Welcome to the club hun :) Check the oring under your shirt, maybe its damaged. Something has to be off because my shirt doesn't move at all unless I move. If your shirt is constantly shifting and moving then its gonna become a pain when firing it because as you said your button will keep getting stuck. I make sure that my shirt is perfectly lined up at all times, so I have not any issues with my button sticking.

If it the oring is damaged then email MMV CS immediately and I am sure they will take care of you. MiriamWTH who this mod is named after, is very responsive and helpful. :)

Other than than your baby looks sexy :D

I can now be added officially to the books. Fast shipping, nice clean mod, and threads are good.

The only thing I'm having an issue with is the shirt housing. Seems very loose and spins easily. My button gets caught in between it.

You should check out Jim's build video because the coils need to be built in a way that the coils are dead center in front of the positive post. If you just install your coils the same way you would every other RDA, your coils with end up off the side and air flow will not hit them the way its intended, and you will suffer a loss of flavor like Todd did. He didn't build it right ..

I have always done center post builds but thanks for the heads up. She is built and vaping very nicely. Good flavor. So far I like it.

Woohoo! Some packages have been delivered. Nice pic's of your new Poldiac's folks.

And that shipping 'loop' - what a fiasco. So sorry that's happening to you.

I feel like the vape I get with the Russian 2.0 is a little better than the Kayfun 4 .. both devices have their caveats but I feel like the Russian 2.0 managed to upgrade and improve air flow with a lot less fuss and over engineering. I have several Kayfun's including 2 3.1's, KFL V2, Five Pawns Edition and two KF4's, and I like them all but I pick up the Russian the most.

The TNS looks like a beast and bit too much for me on the aesthetic side of things. I would get a DID if it came in 22.6mm. The OverOne is a very nice looking RDA, I like the simple aesthetic and I think its gonna rock paired with the Nanos. :)

Says the lady with 2 Kayfun V4s. :D

Its easy to get drawn in fast right? ... the Rope Clothes have my eye and my heart right now, but I am just coming off a pretty big spree so its on my list. I can only imagine how stunning those Rope Clothes will be in photos.

Uma is so pretty too though so I may go the opposite route, especially now that I have ordered some TarnX, Renaissance wax, 6 microfiber towels and a 12pk of jewelers gloves in preparation for my Lux ... which still is not here yet  But I have faith it will show up ...

Officially a new Poldiac fan, got my UMA Classic in the mail today :)

All these great pics of the OverOne, gonna have to add that beauty to my collection too when I order more shirts and pants :)

The rope clothes set would indeed be a very classy addition to your Poldiac and look great :) Huge price difference between the SS and the brass

Seen that you are finally getting some tarn-x, remember to not use that for your brass mods, works best for your copper ones. You will discolor and stain the brass if you use it on that :(

Quick care and maintenance question:
I'm pretty good about keeping all of my mechs' contacts cleaned and polished. I've now got several brushed-copper mods and was lucky enough to find an OLD can of CopperGlo in the kitchen cabinet. It works WONDERFULLY for cleaning these mods up, but they quickly start to tarnish. I remember reading somewhere in the forums about (I think) using some kind of lacquer or wax to "seal" the copper. I don't even know if I'm using the right words.

What I'm after is a brushed copper finish that won't tarnish. I know this is done for some mods, even some clones; my Emma clone is this way. Looks just like it did the day I got it, and it gets used every day. No signs of discoloration at all.

I'm kinda lost here, as you can probably tell from this long, rambling post. Can I make my brushed copper mods STAY tarnish-free? Cheaply?
(and apologies for being off-topic, but you Poldiac owners know that URGE to keep things SHINY!)

Did I, damn that sucks :D

Kidding aside I tried several builds before recording the video and also a couple that were suggested afterwards (parallel coils) but still stand my my thoughts on it.

What? I don't have any all Copper mods any more  Right now I have one Brass (Praxis) which I have not taken out of the box because its pristine and clean and I don't want to touch it, and then I will have the "aluminium bronze" of the Lux tube (when it finally gets delivered) which is not brass, its 91% copper and 7% tin or something ... so I should be good with that one right?

Well of course I don't doubt your word however, my statements were based on the build that you did do on camera and was featured in the review itself. While I watched that was my immediate observation of your build, the positioning of the coil and wicks in relation to the air hole ... but I love you though (true story) so forgive me if my comments regarding your build sounded strong, but it is my honest opinion.

After I built the OverOne I purposely used a flavor that I was familiar with and have used in other attys so that I could accurately asses the flavor produced, at least according to what I am accustomed to. I felt that the flavor was great, even to the extent that I could taste more of the different aspects in this particular e-liquid than I was tasting while using the same e-liquid in a Kayfun 4 ... So I do not find the flavor to be muted, or lost at all.

Nicotine absorption is also very heightened for me .. I usually build my RDA's to .5-.7 ohms max, and vape 12mg no problem with them. I have the Mephisto V2, Lancia, Geyser and 454 Big Block in my RDA rotations. With the OverOne built to 1.0ohm (dual) which is higher than I usually build RDA's, within 3 toots I had a serious Nic headache ... this was totally unexpected. In fact right before I came I just pulled out some 6mg juice to use with it because the Nic headache will not abate one day later.

You should be ok with the lux tube, I forgot it was aluminum bronze. Please read the bottle for warnings and which metals to use it on, if I remember correctly it can stain SS too. Works like a charm on copper, silver and gold but its not all metal friendly.
