Good morning! Sunny and 61. :)

How can asking about stamps be offensive? What the heck is wrong with people these days? sheesh

Drott, I'd have to take Victor in as well if Mr. V didn't do it.

Hey Punkin, what washer did you and Mrs. P decide on? Inquiring minds need to know.

Good morning! Sunny and 61. :)

Hey Punkin, what washer did you and Mrs. P decide on? Inquiring minds need to know.

We were told by a somewhat honest salesman that all the new washers today aren't expected to last more than 7 years and that doesn't mean all 7 years will be problem free. He thought the HE top loader machines didn't clean the clothes as well as the older technology agitator top loaders. Mrs Punkin is old school and said she would prefer a top loader over a front loader. So, we found only two choices that had a longer than 1 year warranty, the expensive and small Speed Queen or a commercial grade Maytag. Speed Queen changed their machines in 2018 to meet Federal guidelines, to conserve water and be more efficient, and most people say they don't like them anymore. They have released a 2019 version they call the classic which is very similar to the 2017 model but they reduced the warranty from 5 to 3 years and raised the price to over $1000 for just the washer. The Maytag MVWP575GW is their commercialized version that comes with a 5 year total warranty serviced by Maytag and not a third party company. Parts are easier to obtain and it is a basic top loader with an old school agitator. Not cheap at $799 but ya gotta spend your money on something... Our current 15 year old washer and dryer are still kinda working for the most part so we are putting the purchase on hold for a little while. Sorry for the long winded reply...

Good morning everyone! :) It is going to be a few hot and muggy days coming up.

So I decided to keep the Instant pot to go along with the Foodi. Yesterday I loaded the Foodi up to slow cook all day. Around noon thought I'll make us loaded fry's for lunch. No air fryer.:lol: No biggie. Still have a Fry Daddy we got when we gave the big fryer away. Just didn't feel like playing with oil. Still like the Foodi a lot.

Wow punkin, things sure have changed since we bought our set. Hopefully mine continues to hang in there. *fingers crossed*

I refuse to drag out the oil fryer unless we are using it out on the deck. I've also run into needing the fryer and the foodi is busy. Lack of planning on my part made for a no fries meal.

Window A/C is in, meaning it will now get cold out.

I hate my HE washer! It doesn't seem to get things clean, has left soap stains on clothing, has no bleach or fabric softener dispenser, and seems to take a LOT longer than my last machine (a refurbished Maytag). I would totally advise against getting one, sorry to say.

Good morning!
I think I might make breakfast for dinner today. Let me know how the steamed shrimp work out please.

I just had a serious case of the giggles. Victor was stretching and wiggling around and saw his little tail moving out of the corner of his eye. It scared him.

Wow the shrimp are Great. I didn't realize they were already shelled ready to cook. But they turned out great.

I made them in the foodi with these instructions. From frozen is what I needed. Cause I never remember to thaw them so they sit in the freezer forever till they get pitched.:lol:

That's a good thing. The more sleep he gets the longer he'll live. So I read somewhere.
Well, he sleeps most of the day now so hopefully that's true. When he is awake he's his same ridiculous self. :D
