Turtles are home. 4 came out of their little deli containers rearing to go. Soaked them in warn water for 20 minuets to get the packing material off and in the aquarium they went. The two that were the whole reason I ordered looked dead no movement nothing. Figured what do I have to loose. Put them in warm water and set them under the heat lamp. Hour latter and their moving around and wanting out. Hate to tell them but their staying there for a while yet.:lol:

Good morning.

I'm happy that they are doing well Drott, fingers crossed that they make it. I spent way too much time at the turtle store site yesterday and still haven't decided which ones to get. I need to get downstairs and see what I have that they could start out in. Mr. V is still making that nope face when I talk about it. Too bad.

Overcast and cool, orange bike and I are going for a spin today. I have found that it's impossible to ride in the driveway, I have to walk it the 1/4 mile to the blacktop. And I need a basket, dorky or not.

Yeeks! We are going to a camping rally in Sept, and one of the organizers posted asking if anyone quilted. I replied that I did, and asked her what she needed. Today she messaged me that she needs an outline of the class I am teaching and a materials list within a week. WHAT?????

I think I'll do exactly that Punkin, so far all I've done is freak out on what I can teach them in the limited time I would have. people, sheesh. Now had she asked me nicely about a month ago, I probably could have come up with something.

You're way ahead of me Drott, so far I've brushed Victor, watered my little deck garden, and swept the hut. And tried to figure out if I accommodate the class thing. Cheddar brats on the grill is my dinner plan.

Hey Punkin, what ever happened with that tractor tire hitting your garage?

Hey Punkin, what ever happened with that tractor tire hitting your garage?

His father called the next day to request a meeting. They came over Saturday morning and wanted to, "make things right." His father use to work with siding in the past and said he would replace the entire down spout. He was going to talk to someone else about the fractured stone work because he wasn't familiar with that kind of repair. It looks like they are willing to take care of it. :)

He already had 28 birthdays this month!

Happy birthday again, Peggy. :bday:
He did. I sang to him every morning. Poor Mr. V. Tonight he gets his favorite dinner and German chocolate cake with pecan frosting. Two more days of singing and I can stop for the year. He's worse than a kid, we rarely remember my birthday but his is a darn big deal.
