Serious winter is here, we're down to single digits. I think I'll bake cookies this morning to warm the old hut up.

Good morning. Haven't seen mine in years. Think it went to Good Will with other kitchen stuff that wasn't being used.

Haven't thought of cookies. If I do it will be a small batch for hubby. Am going to make fudge. Got some car molds to try out. If it doesn't work I'll re melt and put in pans.

Putting on baked beans shortly, we'll see how the slow cooker part of foodi works for them.

I got a reprieve!! Don't have to work tomorrow!

A co-worker told me as I was about to clock out, "Enjoy you day off". About ten minutes later, it occurred to me that he was being sarcastic. He's sort of a toad, always asking the supervisor stuff like "How come the clerks aren't doing such and such"? Whatever, I certainly will enjoy my day off!

Nothing very exciting planned today, Mr. V has to run to the city so I may go along to get the heck of out Dodge for awhile.

I guess I need to turn on the tv and see what's happening. I watched for awhile yesterday, but my IQ was going down as fast as my blood pressure was going up.

So my last delivery the pizza place made the wrong sandwich. So after waiting the owner gave me the wrong one. So were having 1/2 of the chicken parmesan sandwich and I already had shrimp scampi on the list for tonight. Interesting combo.

That's an interesting combo! Burgers and fries tonight. Yep, lazy.

Agree. We still have 1/2 sandwich and over 1/2 the scampi left over. That shop makes really big sandwiches.

How did the baked beans turn out in the Foodi? I think the temperature runs low on the slow cooker setting. Whats your take?

They turned out good, but I agree that it may run a bit low. I'll try something else and see how it does.

Working on finishing my tree small 4'. The dam balls didn't have hooks so I ordered some and other stuff. Target dropped the ball so to speak. Was to be delivered Thursday that didn't happen. so I got the wire out and made my own. Haven't had a tree for over 5 years so had to get everything.
