Good afternoon. Grrstore run is complete, everyone survived. Trying to can milk this afternoon, we'll see what happens.
So far so good on the milk, it looks fine. I just did 4 quarts for the test run. I'll pop one in the fridge tonight and see how it is tomorrow with my coffee. *fingers crossed* Milk just went up $1 here, ack.
Yes over 2.00 for a half gallon. I'd have to get a pressure canner. Wouldn't know what brand or size. 
So on the 18th a different furnace guys coming. Guess this ones more knowledgeable. I shot them an email this morning. Not a very nice one. Then I called this afternoon for an appointment. As soon as the girl that answered the phone seen it was me I was transferred to Steve.
I can tell you what I have for a pressure canner if you would like Drott. Not a big bad expensive one, but it does 7 quarts at a time.

Don't need bells and whistles just simple. yes please 7 Quarts would be a good size for the 2 of us. Seen videos' on doing hamburger.

Good morning. COLD here too, but we're supposed to see low 60's today. Sure hope so!
Drinking coffee with my canned milk, so far so good, still alive. I think it changed the flavor a bit, but it's still drinkable. Can't really taste the difference in coffee.

I'm trying to gauge how high the heating bills are going to be this year with all we've got going on around.
We're stacking wood, anticipating an ugly heating season. UGH.
Curious to see how much it will be this year also. Had the tank toped off 10/05/21 price was still very reasonable per Gallon. Was surprised was expecting higher prices.
