It will be traumatic. First a car ride then brush and bath, nails, ears and ride back home. Not to mention getting her in the car.
Car ride was ok I sat in the back seat and she got in with little coxing. She just sat there and shuck and panted the whole time. A the groomers the tubs by the wall. She said Gertie tried to clime the wall to get out. But settled down. Clippers she was totally scared of. Groomer decided to hand clip the little bit that needed trimmed. Groomer was surprised Gertie had no problem with the blow driers, ear cleaning or nail clipping.
Good morning. Up late with a campfire, so slept in a bit.
Gertie did pretty good for her first time Drott, I'd keep taking her places, or even just for car rides.

Got a few things done outside before the heat. So decided to set up the new cable box. Was just as expected. 15 min to set it up. 15 min rechecking everything. 45 min on phone with xfinity. They tried to set the box up remotely with no results. Their sending a technician to the shack on Tuesday with another box. Problem is suppose to turn the tv on with the old remote which is suppose to bring up a menu to pick hdi, cable or Antiana. What I get is no single. Without being able to pick one the box can't be set up. 5 min later I had old box up and running.

I'm actually fine without the cable, I've gotten used to no TV. Mean I have to do other stuff, but that's okay too.
Machine 0, FV 1 again today. Got the goose quilt quilted, trimmed and squared, and the binding sewn on. Now the putzy part of hand stitching the back of the binding down. blech. I'll do it this week, then it gets a bath and it's picture taken. I'll be relieved to be done with it.
Had to stop working at the shop today when Mr. V and his finger had a too close encounter with a table saw. I couldn't decide if they could stitch it or if there wasn't enough skin to pull closed. so off to ER we went. Not enough skin left for stitches so he's just heavily wrapped for the next few weeks. *ouch* on the bill, *ouch* on the finger. The doctor told Mr. V that married men live longer than single men due to their wives. He also said he didn't say they were happier, just that they lived longer. :lol

Got the bed ready for the tomatoes then decided to clean the one filter in the turtle pool. By the time I got done with the filter there were footprints all over the bed for the tomatoes. So off to check the wire pile out.

Good morning. Chilly but sunny again today. Washed and refilled bird feeders is my big accomplishment so far today.
Good morning, Cable guy was here. This one knew what he was doing. He's the first one in 17 years that got our tv to work with their remote. So all these years we have missed out on a lot that was not accessible with the tv remote. Kinda makes me feel like I was ripped off all those. years, when he kept saying your old cable remote did this or that.
