Good morning!

He's the same today, still can't walk straight. We sectioned off a small part of the coop for him with scraps and and old screen door. He and the girls can see each other and blab together but the chickens can't touch him. They wanted to pounce on him as soon as they saw him. Evil things. We're giving him time, if it is his eardrum it will heal eventually. *fingers crossed*

Hoping to find a few minutes to make that Eugurt this weekend.

Thanks Drott. I've got a few eggs that I can hatch just in case we lose him. I'd sure rather just have him though, the sh*thead is growing on me.
Been putting the duck eggs in the frig right away that way I'm not tempted.

Good morning!

Today is finish off the gyros day. That recipe went a long way.

Drake is upright and eating this morning, so far so good. Of course I grabbed the eggs and set them upright on the counter again. I still don't want to hatch this year. But I do want a drake just in case I need fertile eggs.

That's good news and a good move on saving some eggs.
We've been racing the rain that's coming. Hubby's mowed and I follower after spreading the insect control. Put it on every 3-4 months spring to fall. Helps a lot for the fleas, ticks and ants. Still searching for something better for the ants though.

Good afternoon!

We're battling ants here too. So far what's working for us is terro, DE around the foundation outside and a line of cinnamon right inside the doors. It never ends. I have to go out and grate Irish Spring soap on my hostas again, the deer are munching them down.
