Good afternoon! Just got done adding a pvc gutter as a duck feeder out in the run. We'll see how it works out.
Pork Fest is today, so I'm waiting on Mr. V to get ready to go. He's been doing outside stuff while it's sunny out and he has a day off.
Sounds fun and delicious.

Good morning! :)

I made a batch of yogurt with the powdered starter last night. It firmed up very well, and the taste is a bit more tangy than when I used a couple spoonfuls of Chobani to start it. I tasted it while it was still warm, so I have to see if it mellows out a little when it gets cold.

My one batch with the starter was Tangy But it was in 10 plus hours. I put granola in. Heard to incubate it 5-6 hours.
I did mine for 10 hours, I'll try 5-6 next time! :)

I'm making yogurt that I got as a sample. You use water. Thinking no matter how good it might or might not be it would be too expensive. Here's the link scroll to the bottom and order a free sample they even pay postage.

Hmm, water?? I'll try a sample, thanks! Not sure how it's going to come out using water though?

Good afternoon! PorkFest was fun yesterday, and we picked up Mr. V's 1/2 pig from school while we were there. 3 boxes of meat. Granted, part of one box is for Victor (tongue and other icky items) Then we went over to the camper to get it all sorted out for the season, and we spent the night. We need to go back with a rake, our little yard over there is buried in leaves.

Off to get that sample!

Ok the take on the water yogurt. Not bad, I would want more tang I did it 8 hours. It's the consistency of a pudding. Not too bad but I wouldn't pay for it. Milk all the way for me.:lol:
OK, good to know! I did sign up for a sample, so I'll let you know what I think when it gets here.

And the tang did not reduce after getting cold! I have to sort of pause between spoonfuls, because it's almost up there with sucking on a lemon!
