My uncle had to go out anytime of the day or night over the winter months. He had a dip stick he plugged in. kept the oil and block warm.

Were to get snow Tuesday. But not holding my breath. They've been promising but no snow has showed up.
Mr. V is hoping for no loads today because of the snow. *fingers crossed* because I have a list of stuff for him to do around here.

Good almost afternoon. Spent the morning doing odds and ends. Chicks, dog yard ,laundry etc. this after going to kick back bake a batch of buns and chill on the laptop in front of the tv. Toaster shopping. Ours is toasting wonky.

Haddock, backed potato and Italian green beans. Could live on seafood if it were more affordable.

We're in and toasty warm. Mr. V couldn't work last night, in -50 wind chills none of the trucks would stay running so he came home. I'm thinking he might be home yet today because it's still really, really cold. *finds list*
Victor gets about 3 feet from the door, does his business and runs back. Poor buddy. Not sure how the chickens are going to hold up if it stays this way.
