I think tomorrow I'll have to wear gloves AND a hat! It was cold enough today, but nooo, they have to go lower! 
Our post offices are closed due to wind chill. I can't say that I blame them.
Chicken bacon ranch pizza tonight. Mr. V is home. Of course they are not paying the drivers, but they won't give them loads due to the weather. ugh.

The bad is at 6:30 this morning we lost power and it was -10 to -12 real degrees outside, no wind chill added/subtracted. The power was finally up, although not very stable, at 11:30.
The good is the temps have now climbed all the way up to +12 with hardly any wind.
AND the best part is Mrs Punkin and I sat around the recently repaired propane fireplace which keep the room at a balmy 65.

OK, news updates!
Early morning guy has a blockage in his leg and needs to get a stent. Not sure how much longer he will be out, just glad they figured it out!
Ian (my oldest) and his family are in a hotel for +/- 2 weeks while the interior of their house is painted. insurance is covering it, since their heater apparently was spewing a sooty mess.
Andy (my youngest) texted me about storing a Miata in my garage while he takes off parts for his Miata. Yeah sure, it's a teeny car, plenty of room for it and 2 MC's!
He still has this vintage stereo cabinet in there that I wish would leave. The old style long console with a turntable and 8 track player. But there's still plenty of room out there, and I don't need to fit anything of mine in, so no biggie.

I'm getting electric baseboard heat in the living room today, super stoked over here to be coming slowly out of pioneer mode. Eventually the whole hut will have it, but the wood stove will still be the primary heat while we own this place. It just will be a ton easier to sell a hut that can be heated easier.
All sounds good Bamrz, I'd tell Andy sure he can store it there as long as he takes the stereo cabinet away at the same time.

Heat!!! I have electric heat!!! Two pair of wool hunting socks are no longer necessary in the hut.
