OMG just finished the local taxes. Took 3x longer than the State and Federal combined. State and Federal at least tell you were to enter things. Their a cake walk compared to Good old Lancaster Co. Who Doesn't tell you sh it. Their instructions don't pertain to self employed. All in all We owed 4.00. If I were a drinking person I'd be downing a few.

I'm dragging my feet to do our taxes. They are not very hard but we owe a little bit this year so I am in no hurry to get it done. I'll have an adult beverage for you so relax!

I remember when Lancaster County would send me letters saying I didn't properly file local income taxes every year because when I would fill out the form I would just put a zero at the top and run a line down. Finally the last year they said if I was no longer working in the county that I didn't have to send it in any more.

Good morning. News paper said we got 5.7 at the shack. A lot melted yesterday but the cold moved in last night. So the rest will be sticking around for a few days. Maybe 50 for the weekend.

Thankfully, we got nothing close to the 7-10 inches predicted!! But.. we still have really low temps up for the next few days (under 30F). No snow predicted until Friday (less than 1/10th of an inch). Where TF is that early Spring the groundhog predicted?

I'm happy that county taxes are included in our state filing so we don't have to do a third return. So far. Things are going to be changing lots with the new governor. yuck to most of his ideas. We really, really don't need our property taxes to go up, nor do we need toll roads.

I think the groundhog was in cahootz with the weatherliars.
