Just seen on the news it was pretty nasty in your area last evening. Pumpkin glad you and Mrs. P are ok.

It got nasty for a while. We thought the windows might break from the hail and wind. The house was shaking a little or maybe that was just us.

We found out the next day there was a F1 tornado touched down a couple of miles away. We thought it was just a bad thunderstorm. All is well here with no property damage.

Hubby gave the old one to a friend he loves it. We got a bigger one got tired of making things in batches. Just cant justify a Foodi at this time.

Good morning everyone!

I can't talk Mrs Punkin into getting a Foodi. She just uses the stove/oven or the microwave. We have a crock pot but it only gets used once every year or so.

She won't even use the dish washer and does them by hand.

I've always been like Mrs. P, but no microwave over here. I finally gave in and decided to try an easier way of cooking. I had the cooking in the camper in mind, that's a challenge doing it the old way. We took the microwave out of that too.

The sun is shining and I am going our to get bird food and then off to liquor land. We need margarita stuff for the weekend.

Bird seed is stowed in cans in the garage, tequila is in a box waiting to go camping. I think I'm all set.

I stopped at the meat market and picked up a fat little chicken to try out the foodi with. It's supposed to be here tomorrow.

Good afternoon. Playing with turtle tanks. 1 finished and running 2 days. Tomorrow will be move in day.

Staring at the electronic monster on my counter. *skeered*

I baked a round loaf of bread in it. The bottom was too pale and the top was too brown. I think there's going to be a pretty big learning curve with this. On the upside, it's edible. Next up, roasting a chicken with carrots, and making air fries tomorrow. Worst case scenario, Mr. V and I lose some weight as I ruin meals.
