I'm looking at accessories for it, and it appears to have a shorter inside measurement than the instant pot. I'm not sure if I can fit things like the IP steamer basket in it. Maybe the 8qt foodi might have been a better choice for using IP inserts, as it's supposed to be taller.

Off to find a tape measure, and find measurements.

From Ninja: The 6.5-quart ceramic-coated pot is approximately 9.5" in diameter and 5.5" deep

Starting my first batch of home made sauerkraut today! Supposed to take about 3-5 days :)
ooooh! Let me know how it turns out. :)

This afternoon that guy is coming to pick up his stuff and write the check. We sold it at 50% of cost so he's thrilled, and I'm okay with it. Half is better than nothing for sure. And it gets it out of my building. Next up, the auction lady for fixtures and possibly the antiques. I'll take a dive on the fixtures, but I'll hang onto the antiques and sell them individually rather than take a loss. So far so good....

I remember the first time I made sauerkraut back in the 60s. Week 2 I checked it and seen a little mold on the top so I pitched it. My grams came home from work and wanted to know what happened to it. She was a bit mad. Said I should have skinned it off and put heaver weights on it. They didn't have all the fancy stuff they do now to make it.

No fancy stuff here, just sliced cabbage, salt, water with a weight on top in a Mason jar
