It looks like the forecast calls for a nice Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This time I hope the weather liars are correct!
Today and tomorrow will probably still be crappy... Oh well, it is a good reason to stay inside and sip on a beverage.

Chicken and waffles today, Mr. V has a hankering.
Washing bedding and putting it on the line has been my thing today. Of course Victor is helping, so it's taking me twice as long because he's under the line, has his head in the basket, runs past the back of my legs.....

Wicked rain/thunderstorms late this afternoon. Probably flash flood warnings, not sure? Took me a half hour longer to get home than normal. I think my undercarriage is probably super clean, because of all the water I drove through!
The worst was close to home, I know there's a stream there, but not really a bridge over it. Maybe a culvert?? At any rate, it looked scary! I flashed my high beams for the oncoming car to go, so I could check out the depth. Ok, they made it, so I went very slowly and made it too! Seriously though, the water was going over the road from right to left at a pretty good clip!

Yeeks Bamrz, not fun. We had thunderstorms last night. I think it was my fault that it rained, drying laundry outside seems to do that.

Ya, it might have gotten worse later, because the road was blocked off this morning! Back open again on the way home today.
There was a lot of debris (mud, sticks, etc) in some areas on the way to work this morning. I don't think I've ever seen that much water on the road during a rain before?

Going great, but as always, working too many hours. Still hooked on the DIY thing, and can NEVER have enough flavors. I DO sure miss my House though, and some pie, Pie, PIE !!!
Having played their material for years, and never seen them live, the wife talked me into the Joan Jett and Heart show. Was very good.
