84 humid and breezy. good almost noon. Took Subie in for her 18 mo. check up. Not how I like to spend my mornings.
Mr. V should finally be done with the truck today, the brake pads are due in at the dealer this afternoon. He's getting sick of working on it, and I'm tired of seeing it jacked up and in pieces. It gets 4 new back tires on Friday, then it should be all set for winter. And for towing the camper to that stoopid rally. Yesterday I got our site assignment, looks like we're being parked like sardines. Yuck, yuck and super yuck.
It is good the truck is almost back together with new brakes. New tires for Winter is also good. Now you will be able to GO and STOP again. 
Sardine camping doesn't sound good but you will get to know your neighbors, real quick!

I'll be happy for the better stopping, but the having steering back is even better. It was going wherever it wanted on it's last trip up the driveway.

Morning! (barely) Laundry and waiting for FedEx. Tonight is pork chops, taters and the first veggie I run into.
The weather today was MUCH better than yesterday!! Temps were in the 80's, but the humidity was much better!!
Pretty much the same here but no wind. Took hubby's car and dropped it off for inspection. Laundry and deliveries on the agenda. Chicken in the Foodi like the pressure cook then crisp a lot.
I did the pork chops and taters in the foodi yesterday, they turned out really good. Tonight is poor man's lobster and asparagus.
This morning I'm baking bread while I continue to wait for that delivery that was scheduled for yesterday.
This afternoon the truck goes in for it's new shoes, hooray! Mr. V will take it in because I can't leave. I wanted to do it because I need to go to Menards. ack.

Ok, so I now have a roomie! A long time friend of Ian's became suddenly homeless. He's a nice kid, and I have 2 extra bedrooms. Hopefully temporary, but whatever. LOL!
And he's also a Stephen King/Dean Koontz fan.

Getting my ducks in a row for our "vacation". Sonny is spending his vacation at the hut while we're gone. I think he's going to have more fun than we are.
