Did you know that ALL turkeys bought at a store are/were frozen? Even if you buy a "fresh" turkey it was frozen and then thawed out and called a fresh turkey. The processors always flash freeze the birds to keep up with demand and then ship them out. Don't let them fool ya with, " we sell only fresh turkeys." Unless you go to a turkey farm you probably aren't getting a FRESH turkey. Fresh or frozen they are all good! Happy Thanksgiving....
Either way is fine as long as it is sealed. If you get one that is not frozen any more just plan on using it fairly soon. If it is still frozen and sealed it will last a long time.
