Overcast today, I guess I should check the weather to see what's coming. Last night I took a walk down the driveway to stretch my legs and ended up in a huge puddle. blech.

Stayed far away from the ankle deep mud puddle today, and my shoes are finally dry.

Home made pizza and margaritas for dinner.

He doesn't sit out there as much as he used to, he gets cold now that he's older. I told him he should hunt like my friend Joel, he sits inside his back patio door with the coffee maker right next to him. And does it in his red union suit. Funny, he gets his deer as often as the guys that do it the normal (harder) way.

A friend of ours goes up to potter co. One year his wife was hanging out wash at their house and saw a small herd. She ran in the house for the rifle and bagged a 6 pointer. Her hubby came home empty handed. He never hear the end of that.

I see nice bucks all the time from the house, but I can't shoot a deer.

The sun is out and the air is filled with gunshots. Opening weekend is always the pits. Tonight the weekend warriors will go home and peace and quiet will return..
