Good morning. I need to finish up on those apples. They are fine for quite awhile in the basement, but I sure don't want to waste any. It's dreary and wet, darn weatherliars. I'd go back to bed if I could too.
Good afternoon! Windows are open here too. Victor just got a bath, he went down the stairs on his own for the first time in his life. I was impressed.
He's fine, I think he just faced the fact that he was going down one way or another. Putting up a fight never works, it just makes Mr. V crabby at him. Yep, Mr. V gives him his bath and for that I am grateful.
Good morning. Up at 4 for no apparent reason except Victor seemed to think it was a good idea. Looking at more rain here, so finding inside stuff to do.
Off and on drizzle. Got a lot of running done I was putting off. Wally world for returns, Sam's, Karns and junk store. Worked well all in a round trip, no wasted miles or gas. Cheap me. Even lucked out at Sam's Gas was only 3.19 a gallon.

A little worried thought I would have heard something from my Vet by now. Guess no news is good news. On a good note Jeffers Pets Christmas book came today.
Vet just called. Gertie done great. Woke up and started chewing her Iv. So they had to put her in a cone of shame. I got her one of the comfy inflatable ones. I'll still put her in it when she gets home. After 4 the fun begins. Gertie's super hyper active. 14 days of no jumping. running and launching herself off the couch and flying through the air is going to be very, very hard.

Happy that she came through it so well, but feeling bad for you when she gets home. I had to put my crazy dog, not Victor, on a leash and clip it to my belt loop to be sure he didn't rip out stitches. Mental dog was stuck to me all day long. Amazingly we both survived it. He was nutty, but I still miss him.
