Long post, my apologies. I think I figured out what's wrong with Victor. He's taking his meds and getting worse every day. Yesterday he had a seizure before breakfast, then couldn't walk right. Just standing there his back legs would slide out and he'd do the splits without even knowing it was happening. His feet would curl under and he didn't know. Last night his front feet got wonky too. I was pretty sure that when I said good night to him last night that I was saying goodbye. Crazy internet search through ugly tears yielded an idea so I went with it. Took his collar off, changed all bedding and rugs and gave him milk in his water so he would drink tons. This morning he pitched off the bed onto the floor, landing on his face and chest. Couldn't walk at all. Mr. V took him downstairs and gave him a super scrub with Dawn. He came back upstairs under his own steam and is walking around. Wobbly still, but walking. I'm making water super yummy to flush his little system out. His eyes are more responsive and no seizures today. The culprit: Seresto flea collar. I'm pretty freaking sure.....

No, he's backtracking physically. Mr. V will wash him again, that did seem to help. No seizures today, but he's so darn wobbly. Poor little guy. I'm thinking that it might take quite awhile to rehab him if it's even possible. We're walking on rugs and blankets, trying to get strength and balance back. Tile and wood are a nope, he turns into a furry starfish. :(

I had a somewhat bright idea last night. My first boxer was allergic to freaking everything and had little rubber soled boots to go outside. For no known reason I kept his boots. Last night I put them on Victor's back feet and he is much more stable. This morning we both put our shoes on and he was all wiggly about it. I'll take the small wins where I can find them. :)

The milk test is over. 2% tastes like 2%, but not as fresh. For me that's a fail. So I'm not canning any more milk, will stick to freeze drying it.
