Just took these out of the oven. Been years since I made shoefly pies. I over filled them so hope they taste better than they look.

I send Mr. V with a short list, all written down and everything. He comes home with multiple bags of carp, only half of my list. Sonny used to say "If you don't want to keep having to do something, keep screwing it up." His DW begged to differ, she reminded him that she uses cast iron pans and can swing them. Funny how neat and clean he's become since he got married. And gets everything on the list...
Victor. He needed his "pajamas" changed. Then thought he needed breakfast. nope, way too early bud.
And super thirsty, which does not go well with incontinence. Diaper duty is a bit much over here right now, hopefully it lessens. *fingers crossed*

Starting to get back to some kind of normal at the shack. Dock and filtration in and running and small turtles are in. Little pool drained and stored. Large turtles are in a storage bin waiting to go to the basement. Bath tubs scrubbed and satanized. Just taking a coffee break then down to the basement to finish up lighting and set the timers. Inbetween I fixed the washing machine. Every time hubby uses it, we have a problem.
