I had to do surgery yesterday on Victors cow to take the squeaker out. He broke it and I could feel metal parts inside. WTH? Yep, little battery and metal stuff in a dog toy. Good thing he brought it to me because it wouldn't make noise. He's still carrying it around and sleeping with it, but is not happy that it's not making noise anymore. I squeezed the rest of his toys that make noise, they all feel like they have the little plastic thingy. *whew*

Mr. V had steak and eggs before he left. I had over 1/2 my steak left from the other night, so gave it to him. I'm thinking burgers and german tater salad tomorrow, IF I make buns tonight. IF. Spent over an hour picking burrs out of Victor, then did some sewing.

Good almost afternoon. We're being blessed with another car. A friend is no longer able to walk or see well and won't leave his house. So I had to find a traveling Notary, that was fun (not). But I was successful. Monday a 2019 Ford Escape Titanium will be landing at the shack. Less miles than my Subaru I finally hit 31 on it.:lol: Hubbys reward for treating the guy decent and helping him out over the years.

Burgers on the grill because I actually got the buns baked last night. I put them away at 10pm. Cutting it a bit close there.

It's a horrible decision to have to make Drott. We had to go to court to get guardianship of my MIL as she was in no way able to care for herself. We moved her into our spare room and I stayed home to care for her. She had lost almost 60#, lost her home, her bank account was overdrawn, she was running up credit cards with over 30% interest rates, and was living in a family members rental mobile home with broken windows. Yep, they were charging her rent. Most of the family thought that we should leave her be. SIL said we were just after her SS check. Cost us tons out of our own pockets to care for her and pay off her bills.

Some times you have to make really hard choices, and you find that you are alone in it. I like my BIL's plan. He told his son to strap steaks to him and send him outside for a walk. He lives in WY, in bear country.
