Sad day. We went to the hospital to visit our friend that gave us the car. They said he was released this morning. So I called his power of attorney to see if he was released to home or care facility. Doreen said she tried to call and couldn't get through. Mike had passed this morning. We had called and talked to him just a couple days ago. So were a little bummed today.

Good morning. Sorry to hear about Mike, it's so hard to lose friends, even when you know it's coming.

*ouch* on the gas. I nearly fainted when filling the diesel pickup.

Co. that Mr. V drives for just added fuel surcharges to try to lessen the pain, this is going to get uglier. *words I can't type*

Looking for 40's today, hopefully it will melt this last snow.

Back from working at the shop, of course the furnace is now on the fritz. Always freaking something. Mr. V will call the service guy in the morning. At least it's not an emergency, there's the baseboard electric in the bathroom and the gas fireplace in the front. Chilly, but not a crisis.

Back home. I got two small packages of diapers rather than the case. That way I can return what I don't need. On our last few weeks per the vet yesterday. I am happy for the time that I have had, world's best dog for 12 years.
Sorry to hear. Make it the beat you can. Lots of attention and favorite food. What ever Victor wants.
