This is Gertie, the Australian Shepherd. Oh boy is she cute!

Gertie is staying with me for the Challenging Dog Immersion Board & Train. She is extremely anxious and fearful of anything out of her regular routine, or out of the ordinary. She will yank, pull, and try to escape.

Together we are going to work on improving her state of mind, and build her confidence.
Go, Gertie! You got this!

Muggy here too, and the same forecast. NOT looking forward to the electric bill here either. *ouch*

Crawled into the kitchen at 2:30 to make coffee because I was awake anyway, Mr. V sent me back to bed. No argument from me.

Waiting on FedEx again today, blech.

Up Date #14 More of the same. I hope she's also working on stay in place and recall.

Gertie update- we go on at least 1 walk a day. This should continue when she goes home so she can work on socialization and seeing new things. This 1 walk must be a formal walk- loose leash (not pulling), no stopping to sniff, etc.

She's walking really nice, I'm sure the rest of her behavior is shaping up as well. It would be nice if she gave you more videos though.

FedEx took it back off the truck, it's back to waiting with no scheduled delivery. Good grief.

Just sent an email to the manager of the company I bought this from. In my defense he made the mistake of emailing me first to be sure that all 8 boxes arrived safely. Um nope. "I have 7 extremely battered packages in my garage, one of which I didn't order, which means I am missing two. Half of the frame is no where to be found and parts are spilling out of the boxes that I do have. My billing and warranty started on the 4th, so unhappy is an understatement at this point."

I'm inches away from telling him to send FedEx to pick this crap up and either refund my $$ or send it again via UPS.

Yes of something besides walking. There's a list of 5-7 things they said she would be trained to do.

Manager said one package will be delivered tomorrow, he has the last one and will ship it today. He also sent me a return label for the light bar. Personally, I would have told the customer to keep the light bar as an apology. So tomorrow I will put it out in front of the garage so FedEx can pick it up if they show up. :grr:

I am wondering why he asked me if I received my entire order when he had one box still there.

NEVER order from Allbrands.
