Good chilly morning! Looks like the heatwave has passed, slept with windows open and it's in the 50's this morning. May have to close up later, but am enjoying the cool breeze.

Got the frame put together and level, machine put together and on the frame. We still have lots to do before it can quilt, but we made progress. Missing one part so far, will call about it today.

Did'nt cool off here yet. We did have a nice little shower. But humidity and dew point still too high for me. Come on fall.

As for the girls Gerties trying hard. Marcie on the other hand has decided to give a low grumble every time she comes into the room Gertie's in. The trained suggest anchor the dog. Both dogs in the same room far enough apart they can't reach each other and spray which ever one acts up. So, I'll try it for a few weeks, months. I always keep them seperat to go outside and come back in the shack. Safety first.

The good news is when Marcies not prancing around she's sleeping. But is only last a few minutes. Thinking her anxiety levels up since Gertie's return

McDonald's on my way home because it was the only fast food for over 20 miles. Went to look at the county auction properties. Yeeks, needed a shower just looking and not going in. One out of the entire batch is worth my bidding, doing the comps right now. Like we really need more work to do....

Last batch of bananas are in, I bought plums, peaches and nectarines on sale today. Hopefully they are ripe enough to get started on tomorrow.

half the fruit is done, the other half needs to ripen another day or 2.

Right now I'm watching a young eagle try to catch frogs or something else small in the backyard. He's not doing great, wondering if I should sacrifice a chunk of the chuck roast I'm thawing for tomorrows dinner...

Just because I can, here are two more blocks to that quilt challenge. I'll be soooo happy when it's done.

Busy day in hutsville today. Baked bread, make the blocks, and did laundry. Oh, and had to wash the kitchen floor. Dropping the hummingbird feeder sure made one heck of a mess.

Might have to take tomorrow off and do nothing.
