She's very tired but doing as well as expected. They brought her lunch while I was there. They just plopped it on the table. So, I helped get her table over and opened the lid the smell was bad. I still smelled it several hours after I left. No wonder when she was in her personal care room, she microwaved her own food. They still didn't get her in a private room. A lady from Hospice came for a visit. She was nice but waiting on me to leave, I'm sure. They like to do 1 on 1 with the patient, without people answering the questions for her. I understand this completely. I know her family too well. One family member wants to know when Hospice is coming up so they can be there. I think 1 on 1 is good Hospice can get a better idea of how she's really doing and better time frame of when she needs transferred to their facility.

Also, I don't think the family should argue with her when her mind wonders. Like a few days ago Louise told them she was outside. She got a lecture of how she wasn't. I would have just asked her if she had a good time and what she did. Like when I was there, she said it looks like snow on the trees. I said no snow, but the white fluffy clouds look like snow, on the trees. At least that's what I seen looking out the same window. The dog was a different case though, so I just ask her what the dog was doing and that my girls miss seeing her. The family would have just lectured her. Sorry for the rant. I'm just going to try to get through this without a big blowout with her real family.

Good morning.

Completely agree with you Drott. There are zero reasons to argue with her.

Woo Hoo punkin, I'll go look!

Main goal today is to fix my pillow. Somewhere it has a leak, I woke up looking like I wrestled a chicken. Still picking feathers out of my hair.

Super good visit. I found if I wait 2-3 hours after her meds Shes great. We reminisced about the good food we use to cook. My gram's cooking and her Mon's cooking. About how my Gram's made a dozen Fullsize pies 1 day a week and the next a dozen loaves of bread. She always baked for the whole week for 5-6 of use. The big 12" cast-iron skillet and 18qt stock pot. I don't know who got the 12" but I was so happy when I got the 10" Then a few years later I got my mom's also. Bummer is now I can't use them because of Arther.
