Managed to get a grow out pen set up, just need to move the chicks out. To do that I have to move Mr.D So I can get to them. 
Chicken sammies. It's HOT and steamy today so no cooking/baking happening. I also get a pass from dishes for a day or two because I ran into my finger with a rotary cutter. OUCH. Also found out we're really short on bandaids, so I need to go to the store. blech.

No energy here must have used it all up yesterday. Did get Gertie for a short walk and vacuumed 1 whole room so far. 2 to go.

Not much going on here either. I need to sweep/mop, but it's not like the mess is going anywhere.
Strange thing a bird perched on my window frame looking at me for almost 2 minuets. the first thing I thought of was Louise. But she was really good yesterday. An hour later I got a call she took a turn for the worst out of it and major tremors. So, I'm in a catch 22 I'll be dammed if I go see her and dammed if I don't. I would like to Rember her as yesterday. When I left yesterday, she said goodbye with a big smile instead of see ya. So that told me a lot.
Darn, that's a tough one Drott. With my Gramma, I wanted to remember her happy and laughing. I dragged myself to hospice anyway because I thought it was the right thing to do. It also was the hardest thing I've ever done. Anyhoo, that last painful goodbye has been replaced by all the good memories of how much fun she was, and how much she loved me.

Agreed. While the entire situation is horrid, I am happy that you two had time to talk, and to say your goodbyes. So many times things are left unsaid, and suddenly we lost our chance to finally say them.

I did get some stuff done, the rest can wait until morning. At least the floors look better.
