Glad you like it Drott, it's my favorite way to make it now.

Mr. V called the county about our unresolved violation, told the guy that we need to know what it is so that we can do what's needed to fix it. The gentleman was super nice and told us that it's the junk, junk campers, and the holes he was digging to drain his tanks into. He said he's been out to check on it and sees how much we've cleaned the place up. As soon as the last camper is gone he'll remove the violation. *whew*

Our last cleanup revealed a point well and what looks like a holding tank. We'll check out the well on Sunday, and get our septic guy out there to drain and inspect the tank next week. *fingers crossed* that both are serviceable.

Fingers crossed hoping for the best. Trying how you got a violation since you just got the property. Unless it was placed on to make sure you didn't clear it.
The violation came about because the inspector had to go look at the county owned properties. We were just the lucky winners of a really gross property. Others that we looked at were gross too, those new owners will also have violations on record until they clean the place up. People from out of state buy places up here, do what ever they want, then bail out when the county comes after them for being slobs. They leave their disgusting messes behind, imagine that.

We always know when tourist season starts and ends by the garbage they leave along the roads. It's nice when they all go home in fall so we don't have to keep trash bags in our trunks to clean up after them. Just a dog leash, they tend to leave those behind too.
