Good rainy day from a dirty shack in Pa. Should be attacking the dirt but don't feel like it. But it will still be there when I do. Today is:

Busy days at the hut, our first hard freeze is supposed to happen on Friday. We're not ready.

All my blocks are finally done for the quilt challenge, for that I am grateful. Here's all 36 that I decided are keepers. Next up, sew them together and get it quilted. I'll be happy to be finished with it.

Fv. how's Walmart with replacement items on groceries orders? Are they out of stuff a lot? Just wondering because I ordered from Giant last month and over 1/2 my order was replacement items.
For me they've been great. I've only had a few replacements, and I came out better on the deal. Once was lime juice, they subbed the good stuff for store brand at the same price. You can choose no replacements if you want, just check the boxes before you pay. I've been happy doing the grocery part. Once they billed me for cheese that I didn't get and they refunded me within the hour.

Glad the Walmart order went well for you. I'll never step foot in there again as long as I can do pickup.

Septic guy inspected for us yesterday, he was as confused as we were. They poked all over and couldn't find a tank. He said to grab shovels and dig out the pipes, he's thinking it's just pipes, no tank at all. WTF. We'll dig this weekend. ugh. Upside is that he didn't charge us (Mr. V used to work for him and they got to be buddies), and now we can put a septic tank wherever the flock we want. Downside is the cost of the new system.

Found a taker for the old camper that's there, he wants it for scrap. No junkyard fee for us then. I consider that a win. Down to one truckload of trash to take to the dump, then we can burn his old shed and bar and it's finished. *whew*

Yes, I'll post pics when we're done. :)

It's a point well, and way too close to where he was dumping his tanks on the ground. We'll have to have a new one dug. rats.

And good morning. First hard freeze is tonight, on our way to winterize the camper before Mr. V leaves for work.

Filled the basement turtle pool. Just checking it every half hour to see if its leaking. Dried up 2 wet spots. but not sure if it's from a leak. Fingers crossed. Don't know why but I've had to replace it every year. This one will be a year old in 7 days. The outside one about every3-4 years and it's out year-round.
