I've only seen the one eagle on the nest, and a couple times saw the eggs sitting alone. Anyone know if there's a mate?
Yes, there is but he isn't doing his job. He comes to the nest, and she leaves but instead of setting on the eggs he flies after her. So, she returns almost instantly. Thinking he's young and his paternal instinct didn't kick in yet. Hoping for the best but if he doesn't do his part could be a grim outcome. Only time will tell.
