Simply not the case any longer. Read towards the bottom; 12 month Warranty.

SIGELEI-20W_Sigelei-20w_LEGEND_SIGELEI Electronic Cigarette -

Oh, and just noticed it's 3 years now on the Zmax... but that mod is old news. (over the hill/inferior 33.3Hz chip) LOL

SIGELEI ZMAX V5 TARNISH_ZMAX V5_SIGELEI Electronic Cigarette -

Cheers

You try and get warranty service from sigelei - see how you get on.

Incidentally, the V5 is pretty much the same 33.3hz device that the Zmax was from version 2 - and the vape quality is still 'inferior' in my opinion

It's taken years and years for the Chinese to come up with a chip that regulates decently and at the same high frequency as the Provari - that's how 'outdated' it is.

Devices that are wattage controlled have a warmer more consistent vape. Some offer a wide range of Ω on the coils with lots more power than the provari. With clones of the DNA coming out I'd say unless provape has a major update they are soon to fall to the wayside.

Well I don't own a Provari, but I do own 3 dna 30 devices. I don't see what would be the difference from a 1.3 ohm coil firing at 4.1 v on a provari and a dna 30 chip firing at 12.5 watts. Your getting the the same amount of volts/watts either way (unless I'm missing something).

You shut your mouth now... So what if as of today you can officially buy a 20W VW device with no menus for $50?

$52.00 HANA MODZ Pack DNA 20 Style Mod - 1*18650 / 7W-20W at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

:D

I'm sorry but (we don't know it isn't out yet) there is pretty much no way the cna 30 is going to preform as well a a dna 30 chip from evolv. Maybe I'll be eating my words when they finally come to the States, but look at China's track record with every other piece of vape gear. What makes people think think have changed over night?

Short term, we already know the SX200 and SX220 chip is every bit as good as the DNA20 based on PBusardo's numbers. Long term, as in how long the board will last, is still TBD.

There is a SX350 chip in the works, or may already be completed, so if follows the same pattern as the 2 previous chips, in that case, will be better than the DNA30 chip since I assume this chipset will allow up to 35 watts as opposed to 30.

Who knows, maybe China forgot to add a temperature regulation safety feature as the DNA chip already does, and/or the boards simply fail in a short period of time. However, if the boards are solid & proven for the long haul, I just see that as a big win for the vaping industry.

Either way, I've been very happy with ALL my vape gear, China made or not. From egos/clearos to DNA30/RDA's, bottom line they kept me away from cigarettes. I vaped happy all the way through, and have no regrets with any device or topper I've used to date.

Preach all you want about the VV superiority of the Provari or the VW superiority of the DNA30's, but I still firmly believe that 90% of the best vape comes by way of your topper. A well built topper on a garbage 33.3Mhz device will always vape better than vice versa IMHO.

I'm more interested in the fact that the SX350 regulates down below the battery level, this is a massive improvement over the DNA 20/30.

Pity about the 'gravity' control on it.

Well, I think they should make it a point to take you through the process before they tell you to send it back.
I have cleaned mine and I just cleaned it again. I'll see if it happens again before I send it.
Did your screen go out on one side only and did you keep getting E1, E3, E4 and E8 like mine?

did they send you a link to pbusardos instructional video? that's what they sent me. it's rather easy. just some alcohol on a long cotton swab. moist, not wet. then the same for the positive contact for the 510 connection after you've gently scraped off any burnt in juice with something like a paper clip.

yep. second digit died.

no, no errors to speak of.

Yep. It's easy to post a number on a website.

Has anyone actually used it?

How much does it cost to send back? (especially considering overseas shipping)
How long does it take to service?
What Proof of Purchase do you need to get service?

If I have to spend a significant percentage of the original purchase price on shipping, and then wait 6 to 8 weeks for a return, then the warranty is useless. and Sigelei knows this. We've all seen our share of 'garbage' that has a "lifetime warranty" but once you read the terms, you realize that the costs of exercising your warranty exceed your cost of simply purchasing another unit. When that occurs, your warranty is simply a paper dragon and a mere marketing bullet.

Warranty support is more than what you post on a website and ProVape has already demonstrated their commitment to their warranty and post warranty support.

You want to be a beta tester for Fasttech? Good luck with that.

Someone higher up complained about having to send a ProVari back to the shop for testing and repairs, and I feel the poster's pain. It's frustrating to buy new gear and have it not work. But at least with the ProVari, you can send it back. With a lot of mods, you're generally s**t out of luck and $$$ out of pocket.

To the OP, the generally less-than-reliable ECF search function actually does work fairly well when it comes to classified posts. Try 'FS ProVari'.

And in comes my second vamo. (First still works just ugly) Once you find a happy medium of the devices max capability and a feeding system thats up to the job the rest is justifying the price tag. If I'm not satisfied with that I will drop a battery in my mech and enjoy the clouds. The Provari would be impossible to explain to the boss and so would the Hana, maybe when the chips become more readily avilable I'll build something but 200$ for a 3.5amp cap isn't exceptable to me.

Here is one feature the Provari has that few others do, well some mech devices have this feature too.

You can through it though a wall and it still works. *done that*

You can bread a table with it and it still works. *done that*

You can though it through a window, go outside and get it back, brush it off and vape on it. *done that*

with all due respect, jjoohhnn... i've breaded everything from hot wings to ice cream and i'd like to see a couple things;

1) your technique in covering this table evenly
2) the chamber in which you plan on putting this table for heating it
3) how you plan on modding your provari to produce enough heat to cook an entire table

and i think it's only reasonable to expect pictures. :D

Yup. Took a big chunk out of the drywall with my ProVari flying though the air a couple weeks ago. I had to put the topcap back into place (one side came up slightly), but other than that not a scratch.
