Welcome to my life.

That said, I'm quickly getting accustomed to it.

During my first few days, I made a few mixes. All of which were barely vapeable if I forced myself to. Of course, a lot of the advice was to tweak and adjust these mixes to figure out how to fix them: divide into portions and then tweak each sample to figure it out.

As much as I replied with beaming optimism and obedience (OK! I'll go do that!! :D), I was dreading it. It just seemed like so much work and I was just feeling around in the dark. I hated it although I didn't show it much.

Strangely outta no where, I was just testing my new batches, and I instinctively knew I was gonna split my batches and started tweaking them in various ways: diluting, increasing conc or just adding a few enhancements.

Needless to say, my intense need for success and quick gratification has died down, and I've become more attuned to tweaking my juices.

The net result is that I can now do up some mixes, drop it in my UC or leave it in my drawers, and take em out to try a couple days later. I feel less annoyed or frustrated, and it's just a little journey/experiment. I still have a ridiculously long way to go but ah. I'll get there when I get there.

ETA: this is my current set up. I have 100 dollars worth of flavorings alone excluding nic and bases

This is my little holder. I have approx 6 mixes, and then variants or tweaks of each.

Above is my trusty Japanese Casio watch that has been through 3 tours in Afghanistan and 4 tours in Iraq. It's a badass little sucker.

The hardest part for me so far is that the percentage of flavor to use is so vague, I understand that tastes differ but there has to be some starting point.
So..I went with 10 % of cheesecake FW everything else was sold out and 3 % sweet strawberry TFA.I know very simple but I got to learn how to walk before I can run.

Still smells oh soo good.:)

Baking is not my strong suite, I don't mind measuring and I can bake with real ingredients not the stuff out of the box that always ends in disaster.I cook more with panache a sprinkle of this and a dab of that, the same old recipe day in and day out gets boring.

Real good juice is expensive and the only way to have good stuff and not pay through the nose is to learn to do it myself, so I'm going to learn.
You'll get there. I can cook with the best of them; But, like any other chef I can't bake to save my life. I use my nose to measure and it's too big to fit in an oven. Lol I did hash mark my flavor during at the 1 and 0.5 oz marks all the way to 5 and at 0.25 I have a mark since I do use that for some. The marks my first during had disappeared before my first mix.

One thing I learned about a week ago, to get a exact measurement with a syringe, say you want 1 mi of 1 flavor, pull 1.5 ml into the syringe and dispense the flavor down to the .5 mark, and you get the measurement you want, put the rest back in the bottle. That solved a mystery for me that every time I did a mix I ended up with to much juice. :)

It definitely gets easier! You'll develop a "process" - where to put the bottles before you use them; where to put the bottles after you use them; where to set down the syringe; etc.

I fiddle with the calculator, and PRINT out the recipes I'm going to make.
Could look on screen, but this way, I can make 4 different flavors at once...especially handy if a few share flavorings...

I immediately close a bottle after using it, and shift it to the other side of the desk.

I immediately drop a syringe in a water bowl after using it.
Then I rinse and re-use it for the next flavor.

I have it down to the point where I can whip up a batch (120 ml) of my everyday favorite, plus a small batch of something new to try, in probably 20 minutes, including setup and cleanup.

Keep at it, and I hope you love the strawberry cheesecake!!

(a strawberry banana smoothie was one of my first mixes - secret ingredient? Watermelon!)

Sounds almost like what I did today, one difference tho, I got up and washed the syringe out after every step (note to self use a bowl of water next time dufus).

I got all my syringes and that stuff in a drawer of its own and the liquid side of it has there own baskets.
Kiwi the first 27 flavors showed up today I have 13 more coming from a different vendor, all are either Capella or TFA with the one lonely exeption of the FW cheesecake.Cheesecake is a 30ml bottle all others are 6ml.

Yes. Yes, it IS dinnertime.
That's why I said "Meow".
Kitty is not amused.
