So I already had an ego i bought but I was not extremely happy with the battery life and didnt want the extra size of the 900mah battery. Another problem with the Ego is the rubberized finish and that it peels off to easily. Also one other minor thing about the ego I didnt care for was the hard button. It left an indent on your finger. One other minor issue I didnt like about the ego was the light, you could barely see it if it was on or not when you sometimes are outside vaping and ddont notice if you are getting any vapor because it's windy and you want to check to see whether the battery is still on its very hard to see.

With all that said let's move onto the Riva from strictlyejuice and why I like it. First of all the first thing that sticks out over the Ego is that it is a 180 day warranty on it and I know strictlyejuice will back up the warranty because I have had to send a couple items back and they did it with no problem. So I felt confident in my decision. Warranties to me are big sellers because I hear people having problems with their ego or riva all the time here and you think to yourself that could be me so a warranty is very important and being able to stand behind it is even more important. The second thing that struck me when purchasing the riva is the 750mah battery vs the 650 mah battery. So you get about an extra hour of vaping which is nice if you are accostomed to the ego and having the batteries go dead and thinking wouldnt it be nice to just get an extra hour out of it before the battery goes dead. The riva comes through and gives you that extra hour life on the battery without having to compromise the size. The size of the ego was very important for me for someone who vapes in public on a regular basis and it's very nice to have the exact same size as the ego but not compromise the size. When I got the Riva in my hand the first immediate thing I noticed was how nice the button felt over the ego. You are now pushing on soft rubber instead of hard plastic which can get annoying. It's just a softer touch feels nicer than the ego. The next thing I noticed with the Riva is that when I am outside and just want to take a peek to see whether or not my battery is still going I have this very bright blue led light that I can very easily see without having to cover it up with my hands and hold it up to my eye like you have to do with the ego outside just to see if the battery is still on. It might not seem like the biggest deal but when your outside or somewhere in public and you want to see if your ego is working you have to hold it real close to your eye and cover it with your hands just to see if the light is still on and that becomes a little awkward if you arent trying to grab attention or if you are trying to feel like hey these things were built smart and I dont need to bring any unattracted attention to someone who already may be skeptical of pv's. You want to show them without saying a word that hey this thing works and with the little click of a button you can see that. The next thing I like about the Riva is that it is hard paint and there is no rubber material to peel off. The paint does not fade have dropped it several times without the paint chipping and showing any signs of wear or tear. The next thing I like about the Riva is the gold finish vs the silver finish on the ego. I use my battery without the cone and use Janty atomizers so the gold matches perfectly with my atomizer giving it a nice overall finish. Lastly it has a 14 second cut off time. I was looking at some of the other mods out there like the T Rex and the Maxx but they only have a 7 second cut off time. The Riva has a 14 second cut off which is nice if you are taking an extra long drag like we always do from time to time. So it's just like the Ego in that reguard.

So overall here are my ratings:

Riva Vs Ego
Battery Life- Riva
Button- Riva
Finish- Riva
Size - Riva even though it is the same size as the ego the Riva has 100mah more battery life.
Warranty- Riva 180 day warranty from strictlyejuice

The Riva sells for $53.95 at www.strictlyejuce.com with free shipping. 180 day warranty and the best price. They are based out of Los Angeles CA so you can ship them back defective items without having to ship it over sea's in the case that somethine goes wrong.

I have ego's and none of the points you gave as to why you believe the riva is better has sold me since I now prefer the 900mah egos, though for awhile I preferred the size of the 650 - but the riva comes in larger sizes also. The only reason you gave that might lead me think I would like the riva is the button. I have heard from others also that the button is a lot better, and I would like a soft button. But, I will not buy one until they come in colors except neutrals or pink. I can't stand neutrals and I have never seen a riva that was not, black, white, pink, or gold. At least if you look hard you can find red, green, and blue egos - which is still a pretty measly color choice. I wish they would at least make these better batteries with the same color choices as v4l.

I also like that they now make egos that you can use as a passthrough while recharging. I just bought a green Joye eGo 650mAh Pass-Through Battery for only $20.79 using the 20% discount code august20 and it has a 6month guarantee.

Oh goodness!:ohmy:

I just was looking at the Liberty Flights website to check on the guarantee and it was still logged into my account showing the 20% discount prices and look what I just saw they have for only $29.99 using the august20 discount code:

Riva 510 - Lite Bundle
* 2 x 750mAh Battery
* 1 x 510 Atomizer - 2.2 ohm resistance
* 1 x 510 Low Resistance Atomizer - 1.7 ohm resistance
* 1 USB Fast Charger
* 10 x Blank Carts - e-liquid will be required to fill the cartridges, sold separately
* 1 x Atomizer Cone

Thats only $29.99 with discount code august20 I think I am going to get a pink riva! :banana:

It's merely my opinion. I like it over the Ego and I had used an ego for since it came out. I just simply like the Riva better. That's a good deal but i'd prefer one with a 180 day warranty $20 extra is worth it in case anything breaks.

Liberty Flights guarantees Riva for 3 months.

Its true that strictlyejuice guarantee is longer - but a longer warranted is not worth $23 when the whole kit is only $7 more -
