I bought an rm2 off the swap, and the air hole is directly in line with the positive post ? What to do?
I built 1.8 ohms on both sides to see which one was better. If I push the coil towards the air hole the 2mm ID isn't small enough to clear the top cap. It's stock airflow so I have to watch how low I build. Fresh AW 18650. How do I get a better vape quality till I pick out something different or a new rm2 with correctly lined up air holes? Could I go lower without burning my juice? Can I drill this top cap with out a drill press? This is a smidge tighter than a kayfun which is fine actually. But I need a title more fog, thanks all!

I love it so far!!!! I know the vape will get better.

The air hole should sit in front of the coil. thus right in the middle between positive and negative pole.
I've got 2 RM2 here with top caps, that are not interchangable, probably due to different production dates.
But both fit perfectly on their respective RBA base.

Seems that you got base and cap, that were not meant to pair.
Maybe, the seller got the pairing mixed up.

You can correct the Problem by carefully grinding down the bottom of the top cap.
This allows the cap threading to turn additional degrees.
Grind down carefully due to the soft cap meterial.
It doesn't take much to rotate the air hole by 90 degrees.

Yes, the poles are off center and I build my coil on the other side, which leaves with more room for the coil..
This should be the side with the juice hole.
One side of the coil (centered between the poles) should end close to the juice hole.
Make sure, the wick comes down close to the juice hole, but does not clog it.

Yea already clogged it, but with the o-ring, lowering the ohms, and lining up air hole this is pretty sweet!

Just for the sake of conversation--glad you found the o-ring solved your problem.:)
That said, I had a similar problem and was not happy with the o-ring solution.
The alternative was to shave down the RM2 cap a partial revolution, as I saw it.
What I did was whirl the cap around (while keeping it as upright as possible) on a flat file face. I tried other abrasive surfaces but a plain old flat file worked best for me. Keeping the cap as vertical as possible, I
kept twirling the cap on the file and checking how far I'd gone.
I used canned air to blow off the fragments and then checked how far I'd come--1/4 turn......1/2 turn.....3/4 turn,....then I became really careful. Don't want to go past the sweet spot, now do we?
It worked really well for me. You're happy with the O-ring and that's the better solution.
Just puttin' in my 2 cents worth.:)

Rob has extra caps if you need them
Thank you, please tell "Rob" that I wanted to make sure that I liked the atomizer before I ordered a new one. This one is functional, but I would like a new one so it's not worth the fuss of sending just a top cap. This was my first reo, I'll buy my second after I sell my other numerous tanks/mods on the classies LOL. Not into airflow...and the rm2 is nice.

Thanks Rob! I ran around with my kids tonight with a reo in my pocket, and I wasn't tied to an upright mod in some room not to stray so far from it. I gained some freedom tonight, I'm just sorry I didn't get one sooner. Happy 2 months for me. Great mod man!!! Thank you!
