When I used the short link, the video wasn't posting so I used the long link and it worked. Can you see it?
I think something funky is going on with the forum. It's not just this one incident. But it does seem hit or miss.

I don't see the video, but I see the link. I hope ECF doesn't take the ability to embed videos away.

It didn't. I think there's a problem. Not sure what it is and I didn't report it - yet. Some videos and images just aren't showing up in the web version of the forum. It's just not in the threads. I got a PM with an image and was totally confused when the sender kept referring to the "top left one". I went back to the email sent when I got the PM and was able to see the link there. Then Zoe posted and several of use can't see her video post. So, I tried using the link she used, didn't work with the short link but I was able to use the long link and it came up.

That's why I think it's a web forum issue. We are all using different machines, OS, and browsers. Seems to be working fine on tapatalk.
I'm thinking you might be onto something with the short link/long link thing.
I went back and edited the original posts with the long link. I don't know if anyone else will see them, though. I saw ALL the videos regardless who posted or quoted them.
Okay, I think we've solved it.
We have to use the long links at the top of the YouTube pages and not the short links in the "share" box. Handy to know...lol
I think it's a quirk of the new servers.
The full URL of a video works but the "short" URL does not, for embedded videos.
It's kind of similar to the issue with classifieds feedback: only opposite.
You CAN'T use the full URL to the sale when trying to post feedback - you have to manually edit the path to get it to work (see the STICKY in the classifieds to get the right format for it).

Zoe, I'm using tapatalk on IPad and saw the videos with the play button in the middle of the screen for each video. A weird thing I have been noticing on tapatalk which is pretty much all I use now is that when someone multi quotes...all the quotes that they are responding to are from the same person which is not correct, oh well!
