Received my new Russian 81% yesterday. First build: beautiful vertical coil @ 1.9 ohms, 10 wraps Kanthal 30 ga; too much cotton. Repacked with much less cotton and I am now enjoying the best vape since I started 8 months ago. Easiest build yet. Taste and vapor are better than Protank, better than Fogger V2.

Fit and finish is excellent. Threads were a little squeaky until I put some juice on them.

I am running with the air control screw in place but wide open on the airflow. Being a fan of a loose draw this is just about perfect. I am about halfway through the second tank and all is tasting and vaporing great.

Many thanks to VaporKing for the quick delivery and quick no-hassle subsequent turnaround on the unthreaded positive terminal block. I'm gonna have to get another one for rotation and backup.

Lov'n my Russian 91%.

Polished up my Russian 91 with Scotch Brite and then polished it up with Metal Glo polish :)

It now matches the rest of my gear ;)

Lov'n my Russian 91%.

Seems that we are running the same setup on our Russians :)

For my air flow, I actually removed the air adjustment screw completely, so Im pulling air from both holes. This makes it great for lung pulls and it seems to me to produce even more vapor than with the air adjustment wide open.

Finally got my 91% ordered back in August! I've purchased 3 KFL's and a Plus while waiting. Haven't set it up yet but dry hit testing it had an airier draw than the KFL's and parts were interchangeable. Only difference is the frosted clear window

And for those that are tripping on the finish, I brushed with a Scotchbrite pad in like 10 minutes, no electric tools and no sandpaper

Hello all I am having problems with muted flavor and some dry hits. I'm on my 3rd build, and its getting better at wicking but I cannot taste the juice at all.

My set up is. 91% at 2.4 ohms using 2mm ekowool and 32ga kanthal. Provari at 4.0v and my juice is 65VG/35. I rebuild drippers a lot have have rebuilt vivis, protanks, and Ratanks. I wrapped the coil then slide the ekowool through. I tried searching with in the thread but did not find any help

I'd you do rebuild it, take pics of the new build. It'll be easier for the more advances users here try to help you trouble shoot.

Here is the build that was on it. I wonder if the negative leg was touching and shorting

I have a few different drippers, but am too lazy to drip all the time. I haven't played with them too much though. Know a good setup that will hold a lot of juice?

I have several RDA's the best juice holder I have so far is the Helios but I am on the list for the dual deep welled Origen. I only use my RDA's at home so I really don't care about re-juicing them.

For the Russian group here is a dual coil with hemp. The picture was taken before I eased up (raised) and moved the coils over the air hole:

That's 16 wraps of 30 wire each, 2.1 ohms, wrapped on a toothpick, I was not out for micro-mini-coils or super sub ohms.

Any higher and I start getting dry hits like mad. I may try rebuilding again tmw and see what happens.

A couple of times I put too much juice in the tank and ended up with something like vapor lock. I ended up loosening the top a bit and that worked (messy). I'm really not sure if it was a true vapor lock or something else, but since then I have not filled the tank that much and have not had a problem.

that's great man, i recently polished my 91% with scotch brite pads too and it looks just as good as the KFL :) about those clear mini M tanks, i've pm'ing the maker but after a few days now he hasn't got back to me.... i want a few of those!

im selling most my atty's and going with kayfun type devices almost exclusively for now. you can't beat the reliability and vape from a micro and cotton! tired of screwing around ;) it always comes back to the kayfun, what a great design!

Try raising the entire coil off of the atty. It looks as though the coil is touching the airflow hole?

Am not sure whether you've seen this or has been posted, as the build is a little different from a lot of others?

I made a new coil 1.1 ohm with 28g kanthal. I got the coil up off of the air hole.( I think it was shorting.) Still not getting any real flavor Maybe too far from the air hole. also this time when I started filling it. It started dripping like crazy from the drip tip.
