Sounds like you need to open up the airflow a little more.

Hey Pizza
I honestly have never had mine to flood. I have had it to leak out the last half ml if I let it set more than a day with out filling it back up.

Thanks guys. But, i have the AFC screw all the way out to the edge and (Hey Low!!! :)), it's not flooding, it's leaking out of the airflow hole. Full tank.

Pizza recheck and assure everything is tight.
Make sure that your wick is long enough to just touch the bottom of the deck.
Lightly tuck the wick in don't pack it in. It should be kinda loose.
By the way what are you using for the wick? That will make a difference too.

Cotton. Horizontal. This time I ran some PC yarn around the coil and dropped the ends down on the deck laying across the channels. Then lightly stuffed some cotton ball in the sides to hold extra juice.

The wick could affect leaking out of the airhole?

OK. I'm thinking, have you checked that space around the white insulater on the deck? You know that hole where the insulator meets the positive post? That's the only other place I can think that liquid would be able to get down into the air hole. Otherwise it has to be coming in through the air hole at the end of the positive post under the coil. Which is what lead me to my original question about the afc being too tight causing flooding. HTH

Yes. Changes in temp or pressure (such as getting on an airplane) can cause the kayfun/russian styles to leak due to the way they work. This would be true of protanks or any other atty that works on negative pressure as well. If you know you're going to be changing outside temp or pressure, one way to mitigate the effect is to turn the atty upside down. This will help some. I tested this on my last flight with a russian and it seemed to work pretty well.

Forgot I posted this..

I found out the issue..these are clones. I had to file the 91clone juice wells out. I'd like them to be a little bigger, but where they're at works fine as of now. The left is a tobeco 91clone. Right is a lite clone.. unknown manufacturer. Forgot to snap a picture of where they're at after filing.. about where original/russian wells are.

Not that it was broke but i filed out my russian 91 last night. It is wicking so much faster now. Running hemp on a vert coil and the bubbles are coming up like crazy now. Thank you!!!!!!!

Hey guys I was just wondering how many of you use the drip tip adapter for your Russian 91% v1 or v2?? When using your own drip tip do you guys remove the o-rings on your drip tip?? I'm finding it very hard to use drip tips with the Russian 91% literally every drip tip i've used its ripped the o-rings.. are you guys getting the same problems? are you guys lubing up the o-rings with e juice or what?

I like (and use) the standard drip tip that's included. But I also popped a drip tip I had into the adapter, just to see if it would fit. It's just some generic anodized aluminum drip tip I got from HighDesertVapes... roughly the same size/shape as the plastic 510 drip tips included with some cartos/clearos/tanks. It is a somewhat tight fit, but I've had NO issues with it ripping the o-ring. I did not lube it with juice, just put it in, and it worked. Can't really say for any of the nicer, higher end, drip tips because I don't have any.

Does anyone know what size O-rings the R91 tank uses? I'm talking about the biggest ones that go on the top piece/tank mid section/base. I want to pick up a few extra ones because after about only 5 tank fulls, the bottom O-ring on the base of the R91 is bad. It has a developed a very minor leak where the lowest tank section screws on to the base. It's extremely minor, there are no visible drops/drips coming out its more like it's "sweating" out... It's just moist in the seem. I still have 4 spares that came with the R91, but if they all give out this fast, I'll definitely need a backup supply, and would prefer to just be able to go pick some up at home depot.

I bought two drip tips from super t the same model one in satin finish and one in SS one to match my KFL and one to match my russian. The fit for the russian was very tough but was able to fit but the way the drip tip adapter on the russian is made the edges are sharp and not smoothed out like the KFL. The drip tip fits very easily on the KFL and I had to use a lot of force to get in the drip tip in the russian also had to apply some e juice on the o ring and it still ripped some bits of the o ring off the drip tip.
