The Russian..defective out of the box! Sadface.

Oy. So i had another Russian full size arrive today. Ordered from Mt Baker. Opened the package and oops positive block is turned making contact..no biggie ill adjust the pin. Nope. The center pin is bent on the threads..forcing one side of the block down more and screwing on the collector base causes the block to turn everytime. No good! Contacted MBV no response yet..sadly my EHpro clone has been rock solid!

The positive block on mine just recently started turning. It seems to do it just randomly.

Yeah i expected that normal turn. This is unbearable tho. Everytime the collector is screwed in it does it. What makes it worse is the block is tiled in towarss the center from the strain of the bent center post

Oh I feel sad for you Put up a little fuss and maybe they'll throw in a few extra goodies with the new one, for your trouble.

Said it before - Everything ships, Good - Bad - Broken. Yes manufacturers have QC
They don't pull defects. They confirm and correct production issues.

No doubt MB will take care of it............but frustrating.

Yeah. Mbv never dissapoints in customer service. They wrote me back and are sending a new one asap and told me to keep this one as spare parts. Woot. Theres a reason i stick to MBV for anything i can and enjoy.

You will see mixed reviews, some for the Lite others for the full size, I prefer the big one, it has longer threading on the top, and seems to seal better. Additionally, I have a defective Kayfun Lite, but some people think they are magic, not me, my 91 is scrap.
