Im in the process of thinking I would like a more substantial PV. I love the precise, but it is pricey, maybe down the road. I was looking into the bolt, but it is hard to find the better places with the good deals that have the matte/satin black with black button. I found the Sabre touch, awesome device. If you own one, please post some picts and why you love it. I want something that will last, rugged, sleek. I dont want a varible voltage. I want it to be 510 compatible as Im collecting all sorts of cool accesories that I plan on using on a nice tube mod. I want black and I dont want a high shine. Rubberized is fine. If anyone has any suggestions on other devices that you think I might like, i appreciate it. I want to spend around 100-150, less would be great. Thank you , cant wait to see better picts and set ups of your Sabre Touch. If youre BOLT owner please share your photos too. Im pretty close to just going ahead and getting one.

I've been looking at the Saber mod for awhile. The thing that bothers me is that your hand needs to be touching something metal on the device (endcap, etc) while your finger is on the fire button to complete the circuit. So what happens if the saber is touching something metal and you hit the button by mistake? Freaks me out a little but I assume they are safe as so many use them. The instructions do warn about letting the device touch metal, and they don't mention an "off" or locking switch.

There have been some changes in the saber which made me finally place my order regarding the touch sensor. One they did something so that if your fingers are dry you dont have to lick it to make it work. I heard some people with dry hands had some issues.Another cool thing Sir Lawrence did was give you the option of either having a metal ring around the sensor or having a metal touch pad on the back of it, so if your hands are small you dont have to make such a reach with your fingers to reach the endcaps to fire it up. I cant wait till it gets here.

I bought a Saber and it has quickly become one of my favorite mods. The touch sensor has always worked great and has never fired accidentally out of hand.I generally run mine with stacked 123's in it

I bought mine used off the forum and it is the older version. Not what I would have picked colorwise for my first choice but the price was right and the black stardust has grown on me. My opinion is that it is a great device and I probably will add another at some point in time.

Very cool tip and tank, is it trippy tip? I just got one of the basic black taper bulbs. I really want a black and white swirl drip tip, but they sell out so fast.

Both the tank and the matching tip are hand blown glass from Hot Vapes, the glass is much thicker than the Trippy Tips.

I was so close to buy a bolt so many times. Every time I would put it in my shopping cart, I would do a search on the bolt and found a lot of good reviews, PBusardos gave it a thumbs up. At the same time, I also saw a lot of post regarding the fact that the wiring was very thin and many times fell apart, but no biggie all the posters mentioned it was such an easy fix, and all you needed to do was solder them back and then it lasted forever.

I just didnt want to go out and get a soldering kit. Im sure I could do it, there are quite a few how to videos on here and youtube. I tend to always get that one in a million problem thing, guess its kinda my luck. I just kept saving and resisted the Bolt. I love the simple mechanical simplicity of it. People use it at construction sites and say that they have been dropped many feet, driven over etc.

Im always stressing out when I buy something new, constantly looking for something to go wrong at least while its still under warranty. I hate it when something you own goes bad day after the warranty expires. Honestly that has happened to many times. Once though I had a television just pop and go black day after warranty expired, but the manufacturer was so nice they honored it and fixed and it lasted me for almost 10 years till I gave it away for a new one.

Seems people dont make things that last for years or a lifetime. Mostly because we as consumers, LOVE to consume the latest, greatest "thing" even if its still good.
