The SAVINGS and math of changing to e cigs

I don't think most vapers break even until like 9 months or more in -- sure if you got lucky and nailed your perfect PV/atomizing/juicing method and your perfect juice on the first try, assuming you never got curious and bought anything else, even if you're paying $1/ml and vaping 3ml a day, going through an atomizer a week, and a battery every month -- that's like $120 a month

if you smoked a pack a day, that's about $280-300 a month, so vaping is less than half of what you'd spend on smokes

but I think you can look forward to spending $20-60 a month for the first month or three on juices, then there's passthroughs, cartos, drip tips, battery upgrades that you'll probably try out

I myself have only been vaping since October 17th, and I've already spent close to $400, which from what I gather reading posts around here isn't that much for a new vaper trying stuff out...

but I'm really close to getting dialed in, so hopefully I can just sit back and enjoy my stash pretty soon, and start getting down into the <$100/mo. area

ideally, paying $0.50/ml or less on juice, vaping 2ml a day = $30 a month + atty a month + battery every 2 months = around $40/month -- that I can jump for joy over

I pay 25 USD 5 atomizer "free shipping" for my 510 yeti.. battery 5 for 45 bucks.. Juice i buy 30ml bottles for 7 bucks each over 30 bucks is free shipping.. I diluted with VP. I burn 2-3 atomizers a month and 1 battery a month I figure. I burn 7 ml a day juice.. or 200ml a month I am a heavy smoker of my yeti 510.
So my cost is ejuice 42 USD a month, replacement parts 20 bucks a month. total cost $65 a month to smoke 5 X more then i smoked as a smoker!
When i was a smoker I paid $3 a cigar and smoked 3 a day..and smoked half a pack a day Winstons $2.50 a day.. I spend 340 Bucks a month smoking.. i now smoke 5X more and save $280 a month
So with that said if someone does the math in about 10 days of smoking the 510 pays for itself.

I just figured I spend over $1,200/year on analogs conservatively and I don't see how I can ever spend that much on E-Cigs. Ok...I totally could but I really doubt I will so I will save in the long run. Right now I am vaping less than 5ML/Week but am just getting started.

Plus I just got my boyfriend hooked on vaping so he and I can share juices, equipment, and shipping so there is a savings. I hope to get some of my friends hooked on these so we can all try different juices and therefore save money on products we may not like.

i have lost 200 dollars on ecigs, but gained 140 of that i would be spending smoking.

Whoops! didn't know I was supposed to be saving money.... maybe I should stop looking at all the vendors sale threads, LOL
seriously, I probably am saving a little, since the nasty sticks cost $10 a pack here (smoked ppd). I have been doing this for 3 months now, and finally have the pv's that I like and 2 months supply of my 3 favorite juices, and a good supply of my cartomizers. hopefully spending will decrease to a dull roar now- until someone else comes up with a good sale
