I've purchased a few different juices where the smell was really pleasing but the taste was mediocre or even downright awful... and then the small was awkward or even unpleasant but it tasted great. Has this happened to you? What kind of flavors?

For me, the coffee flavors all smell amazing. But once I try them, I just can't acquire the taste. I'll probably still keep trying  :vapor:

There was also one flavor that did not really catch my appreciation with smell, but it was pretty good. It was a S'more liquid. Just smelt weird, tasted nice, and the after-smell was pleasant. Weird, huh?

Well I have smoked real cigarettes that had sat in the ash tray for days. All crumpled up and covered with ashes. When I woke up in the morning and I had no cigs, I smoked the f'ing filters that were also soaked in cigarette ash or god knows what other stuff. I might of smoked one or two with puke on them. I wouldn't remember those times of course :)

One needs to vape a flavor for at least a month. You must might acquire a taste and craving for something you absolutely hated in the beginning. I have with Dekang Camel. And surprise I'm saving one hell of a lot of money with Dekang juice.

HTH,
Dave

Juices taste different from different equipment at different wattages... how long have you been vaping with that 510? It may be time : D

I've been at it with vaping for 7 months, and it's been with the 510. I even use carts *waits for the gasps* and I get tons of flavor and TH. Some juices just don't do it. I recently made a thread about different MODs, but not to increase flavor/TH but just for more convenience.

there are so many factors in quality of vape perceptions, it's mind boggling... i was a heavy smoker, and now a heavy vaper... with the choices in juice out there, and even what juice vendors call tobacco flavors, I've found that I don't even know exactly what I am looking for in a juice.

I used to smoke American Spirit blue pouch tobacco, and it tasted good... period... Now with a million flavors ( i have at least 100 bottles of various sizes in my possession)... i wonder what the hell..... ? and i don't even buy tobacco juices.!

But i wonder, what is the obsession... I mean if each bottle = a pack of smokes I must be crazy and vaping has bewitched me!

LOL.

some juices smell good and even taste good (in the mouth), but the vape is missing good distinct flavor.

For me now, in between all the different "daily flavors", i have some VB Arctic Ice... it's just menthol, and it is pleasing and it does just what i want it to do: taste good, have that menthol flavor and kick to the sinus, and it has the amount of nic i choose... I vape it about 25% of the time, in between bouts of different juice flavors....

It really is a trial and error. I have found that, if it smells good to me, it's probably going to taste good (just *maybe* not as strong), however, I have always had a supersonic sense of smell, which has been further enhanced since quitting smoking.

BTW - great coffee (that's, unfortunately, hard on the atty) want2vape campfire coffee is TO DIE FOR.

I think it also depends on where you get your juice as to whether or not it is "true to description" - for instance, a lot of places' fruit flavors are more "candy" than "fresh fruit".

I've found that out of all the flavors I've tried, tobacco has been the easiest to judge based on smell. If it smells cheap, it probably will taste like that to. When it comes to others I've been surprised both ways. I have a peach tea juice that smells just like peach. Once vaped, the peach and tea taste amazing together. Other times I've had liquid smell fantastic and have a weird extra taste in them.

Oh I second want2vape campfire coffee. I'm not a coffee vape fan except for this.

I still use carts Rayen! I use boge cartos too. Sometimes the flavor is better dripping and using carts.Just depends on my mood.
:vapor: I drip when I flood my atty, basically  ...or for some reason I feel like dripping. I'm thinking of getting a drip tip just for those moments, hehe.

I've hear awesome things about it! That and BWB's coffee and the like. I made a thread a little while back asking the realm of BWBers about which coffees to try. I should be buying them soon, and I'll add the Campfire Coffee as well. :vapor:
