I'm with you 100% RattlerX! The friendliness and helpfulness of all the Reonauts is bar none.

This is the first negative post I've seen on this sub-forum since I joined Reoville. If you are truly bothered by the similar posts why are you still here?

First of all, me suggesting everyone utilize the tools provided on this site is not negativity. The fact that everyone took it as such is disturbing and off-putting. Second, I'm still here because I will never use a different mod (except my OliveR), so there's nowhere else for me to go. My road ended a long time ago.

Damn Z, you sorta hit a nerve up in here bro :)

It's all good. Still love ya in a non homo way bro :)

Yeah I can see that.

Wasn't my intention, though. I was trying to impart some helpful knowledge and common sense. I know when I first joined I had dozens of questions, and I would often wait days for the answer I was looking for; basically until Filthy-Beast or pdib saw my post. After a while, I just started PMing one of the two (or both) with my questions to avoid the lengthy wait, and then pdib suggested the search tool. As soon as I started using that, all my questions were answered within minutes of when they were contrived.

Again, I was not trying to be a pain here. It's a shame that I was attacked for suggesting new members do something that has helped me so much in the past.

Also, let's not forget, I'm always eager to answer questions. I frequently receive PMs from new members asking me questions about things I post on this sub-forum. I always take the time to answer their questions thoroughly and completely, often including diagrams or charts to help the sender better internalize the information.

This thread was made to benefit you, not me as everyone seems to assume it was.

Heck, if you had come here and asked a few questions, you'd probably already be thinking about what color you wanted your NEXT one to be! But since you!re finally here anyway, welcome. What are you getting? (Color, size, style, did you order an RM2, etc.). It's never too late....do you have any questions for us? :)
Thanks. Got a 18490 with a rm2. Excited!!! Tons of questions to come I am sure.

zmauls, when you first got here and were asking questions and having to wait for answers, it's because you and a handful of sub-sub-sub-sub-ohmers were breaking new ground and only a handful (Pdib, DarkZero, Filthy-beast) of Reonauts COULD answer your questions. You were a WILD CHILD and many of us were just sitting back watching because we didn't know what to tell you. We were waiting to hear the answers as much as you were. Ha. (I learned a lot about how little I actually know about electronics by reading some of your threads.) I'll bet that even when you did searches, you found the answers in the modders forums, or the RBA forums, or somewhere besides the REOs forum.

The questions I'm comfortable with answering over and over are just little REO questions like "Why won't my switch work?" Or "Which battery should I buy?" Or "Where can I buy Noalox?" Ya know?

I know you didn't mean to get everybody's dander up. The search function probably IS your best friend because you've been going to places that not that many of us have gone. Your questions required a bigger resource pool.

Soooooo....for the questions about regular ol' REOs that we can all answer, we're just saying we're happy to answer them. We just don't want REO newbies to feel like they can't ask us anything.

I, for one, am just a little fascinated by you and your quest for the best .000012 ohm coil. If it weren't for you sub-ohm, lung-burner renegades, we probably wouldn't be getting the SO kits.

Vape on!

Cool! What color did you get? We like pictures here, so if you'll post the obligatory picture when you get it, lots of good things will happen. Also, you probably already know, but they come "signature required," so you'll need to be home to sign for it. Otherwise you'll be chasing down your mail carrier or making a trip to the local P.O.

Will do!! Ugh on the signature. I work till 8 every night. Go into work at 7. So I guess I will have to go to po the following Saturday after first attempt.

Ironically, I am a ups driver. I wonder if I send an "on call pickup" via ups would the owner ship it that way? Easy to do, driver shows up with a prepaid label aand it's on its way. Then I could deliver it to myself!!

Well, bummer! And just let me say ---- you work entirely too much! I hope you're making a pile of overtime money. Otherwise, that's just crazy!

You can sign the slip and leave it in the mailbox if you feel safe with it sitting there till you get home. They will usually try again the next day.

Actually, I learned an even easier trick. Sign up for an account on USPS, then go to the tracking number. On the right should be a place you can enter an electronic signature that authorizes them to leave it for you. The PO is getting very stingy with the peach slips lately.

Wow. The correctness of this post is baffling.

I stand courageously corrected.

. We do that too. Depends on level of service. The level he sends them out allows for it to be released via signing card? Thanks for all the help

Jan, I think that is the best post of this entire thread. A lot of us were not here yet when Zmauls was on his quest and did not understand where he was coming from. Your post did a lot to smooth many raised hackles.

Zmauls, I apologize for just assuming you were being a jerk. Between you clarifying your intent and Jan's post I realize I rushed to judgement.
