I can't speak to the newer Silver Bullet Mechanical, but the original Silver Bullet was my first mod which I still use to this day. It will be 2 years old next month. I'm using an authentic kayfun Lite Plus with a 1.2 ohm microcoil on it as I speak.

The Silver Bullet is built like a tank. Nice looking and well functioning. Solid top connector; battery cap threading as silky smooth as my Provari's. Built in Ohio. Comes with a 6 month warranty, but you can get it repaired for life by the maker, a guy named Chad through AltSmoke. I had to have an AltSmoke BB repaired (fire button) and Chad repaired it and sent it back in about a weeks time.

I recommend getting the extension sleeve if you plan on using a Kick 2 in the Silver Bullet with an IMR 18650 battery. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/altsmoke/555921-kick-silver-bullet.html

The Silver Bullet was one of the original mass-produced mods ever made, and is still popular to this day due to it's uncommon quality. Highly recommended.

I have one of the Silver Bullet mechanical mods and use it all the time now. It's getting WAY more love than the Provari which had been glued to my hand for over a year. Have a non mech SB too that REALLY doesn't get much love since the mech arrived. They're both made equally well and solid as a rock, just one has amp limit and the other does not. If you like side button mechanical devices (not many good ones around) you'll love the SB.

One tip I can think of if you have an RDA/RBA that doesn't make contact at the 510 connector, the pin IS adjustable. Haven't needed to adjust mine yet though with about 10 different toppers.
