I'm reading all this about the PCC with interest. I'm a newbie of less than a week (Joye 510), but one of the things I wanted to indulge in just for the coolness of it is a PCC.
I had been wondering if keeping an already fully charged battery in the PCC was harmful to the battery -- I hadn't considered that keeping a battery in the PCC after it's fully charged would be a drain on the PCC, as you have been discussing here.
I only have two
batteries at this point (more on the way) and the PCC is just a convenient place to keep the one I'm not using when I go out, along with extra atomizer and two different cartridges.
Anyway, it sounds like it's not certain whether the "overcharging" is a problem, and maybe the bottom line is that it would be better to
not keep an already charged battery in the PCC.
Or maybe just not to over-worry
I'm somewhat of a light smoker/vaper, and so far, a battery lasts me a couple/few days. I haven't really figured out a using/charging schedule yet.
And kerplunk, I also found that I need to keep the atty in the PCC with the screw side up, or else it sinks down into the hole.
Speaking of which, you mentioned that there are two places in the PCC to keep
batteries. But mine only has one deep enough for battery. The other three are shallower, only deep enough for atty and carts.
