Hmm...poor Iowa, a fine state I called home for five years. According to lastfm -
"Mark Kennis was the producer of a public access television program entitled “BIG People News” while Mark’s wife–Lois–published a magazine called Iowa Lady Magazine. In November 1998 Mark Kennis ran for Governor of Iowa while his wife ran for Lieutenant Governor. Mark Kennis hoped to make many changes to Iowa. Despite this, they lost. A year before in 1997, Lois attended a Libertarian Party of Iowa meeting which supported the election of Mark Kennis. Also around 1997 Mark Kennis ran for President of the United States and to no surprise, lost.
During his life Mark Kennis was an extremely abusive man to his wife and four children. Though he made efforts to seem a born again Christian, using a Jesus bus and his television show, he still continued to frighten those around him and distribute drugs to children."
What did Iowa ever do to him, huh?

Welcome SilverCloud:)! I don't see the match there. For this version of the song-chain game, you've gotta match three consecutive letters, either from the song or the artist's name. Also, you've gotta use the "search thread" tool (top/right) to make sure that your song hasn't already been played. For the even harder original Music Game - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/lounge/113656-music-game.html, you only need a two-consecutive-letter minimum (more of a match = just kinda more fun, when possible), but you can only play from the song's name (and there are WAY more potential duplicates to avoid because it's been going since 8/10). We also have an anything goes free association chain - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/lounge/409313-totally-lazy-totally-clean-free-association-chain.html with no need to check for dupes (unless you wanna) and links that could come from lyrics, memories called to mind from the last post, or artist/song names (just cool to mention the connection in your head IF it's not readily apparent, but no actual rules at all). There's my spiel. Have fun, and tell a friend;)!

Whoops, also, for the two non-free association song-chains, you've gotta write the title of the song and the name of the artist above your video so that it'll show up in a dupe search.
