Well... not exactly. I mean, their sound is in a similar vein and all, but consider the band's pedigree: Three of the members of Box of Frogs were the original, founding members of the Yardbirds, and former Yardbird Jeff Beck is a featured guitarist on this album. Also, if I recall correctly, Jimmy Page, another former Yardbird, showed up to play some guitar on the band's second album.
So, uh, yeah, where was I going with this? Oh yeah, I just don't think the "wannanbe" label quite applies to this band. That's all.
