i've always played 3 letter match. have i been wrong all this time??? anyway, the bed in Bed of Roses and bed in disturbed was my match. :)
Yeah, I was always under the impression that we played with a minimum of a 3-letter match.

Also, what was with the cluster of consecutive Keef Hartley Band tunes posted by Sambuca?

did i screw up again?
One of the game's rules is that you can't follow up your own post. But, as I just learned from re-reading the OP, apparently this was never spelled out - it's always just been kind of an understanding, I guess.

Also not spelled out in the OP is that you're not supposed to just go "SONG" - Artist, followed by "ANOTHER SONG" - Same Artist, ""YET ANOTHER SONG" - Same Artist. That way, the game avoids having page after page of, say, Bruce Springsteen's entire catalog of tunes all playing off the artist match.

Play on! :D

Thelonious Monk Blues Five Spot
"Funky Monks" - Red Hot Chili Peppers

No worries, Sambuca. No ruffled feathers here. :)

I'm in Hudson, BTW. Been here since the late `90s, but I grew up just north of Boston.

"Homeless" Guy Clark

you tube description:
Sarah Slipper choreographed this dance for Nashville Ballet to perform to Guy Clark's song Homeless. It is a haunting representation of a tragic societal ill. It is part of Postcards from the Boys, one of the dances in the Director's Choice Winter Repertoire Program Feb. 11-13, 2011

I also appreciate some of the lesser known/forgotten tunes ppl have posted. It's easier to avoid dups too.
BTW: Molehill mountain has a contest for one of their dt's going with Christmas tunes!
Your too fast for me. I'm going to wait until everyone goes to bed.

I was going to post the song Homeless from JJ Cale but you'll have to sing it in your head. It seems WMG has aggressively removed all traces of the song from the internet. How stupid. Another great song bites the dust into obscurity.
