This song... No, this whole album, sends my mind so vividly back to college days, working at the campus radio station and voraciously gobbling up all the new music I could consume. What an absolutely fantastic time it was to be involved in college radio! When the term "alternative music" actually meant something, and the diversity of musical options was utterly vast...

Not that a lot of the relatively derivative "alternative" music that's available nowadays isn't worthwhile, but it pales in comparison to the stuff from my memories.
