Okay, so we all know there is nic in liquid/ecigs. My questions are these:

1. Where are ecig companies sourcing their liquid nicotine?
2. Is the liquid nicotine being purchased in any way from BT?
3. Are the pesticides/toxins put on tobacco in liquid nicotine? I know the answer is no, but how do they get rid of all of that? I know there are super pesticide-resistant bugs that require massive poisons. Does this effect our liquid nicotine?

Any info about the source of it and the purity would be helpful. Thanks!

As some regulations are looming on the horizon I did take a look at extracting nicotine from tobacco leaves.
It is doable - with a fair chance of keeping the roof on the house and living on to vape it too :)

Merck has supposedly developed a process for synthesizing nicotine, but it's not cost effective, so the stuff available is extracted from tobacco and usually pharma grade as it was originally meant for the the patch/lozenges makers.

And reputable vendors have no problems with uploading the analysis certifcates...

Are suppliers (BP for example) sourcing their tobacco from BT? Or private farms? If they are sourcing it from BT then they are double-dipping in profits, right?
