My replacement order of GR arrived with the Beaumont Reserve on Saturday. I will say it's much closer to the original taste I'm after compared to the 3 bottles before this

One should be arriving today as well.

Actually poured that GR on top of the remnants of Castle Long from five pawns. The 5P was only finished 3/01 so I think that needs some time to steep before I could give it a fair comparison.

lol

that new flavor doesn't have BBQ sauce in it you silly sillies

"The Fifth" Limited Edition

Not what I was personally getting at lol. I'd hope nobody ever tries to make vapeable BBQ sauce. That just sounds disastrous. With that said, it does appear to have a "hickory smokiness" about itself which is what makes me not want to try it.

I've accidentally "vaped" enough hickory smoke to know that I don't actually want to smoke any

I could be persuaded to maybe vape a bacon-flavored juice (the bacon in the photo for "The Fifth" brought this on), but the problem there would be the weight gain from always needing to eat an entire pack of bacon every time I vaped it. I'm already a little concerned about Moment 37 (awesome name if you get the reference too) making me constantly want apple pie, which I already love. I'll have it by Wednesday, but I'm gonna hold off on vaping it until the weekend.

I wouldn't mind sampling "The Fifth" though out of curiosity, but I'm not $23/bottle interested.

agreed. I think I would try just about any reserve flavor

except this stuff a buddy brought over from Killer Juice. I had no desire to vape that ever.

I'm normally not a huge fan of tobacco vapes. that's not to say I couldn't like one, just don't prefer them.

also wasn't giving the impression any one person said it was BBQ sauce, but the overall impression of this flavor was that of BBQ sauce, which it is not. just setting the record straight

Abridged version :

I was very dissatisfied with my last 2 orders that had GR in it (of course). I maintained, and still do, that something was off in these 3 bottles from 2 different batches. Problem was, everyone thought it was still "good" and that they didn't know what I was talking about. My brother giving me the remnants of his bottle which was from one of the previous batches that were actually good reaffirmed that I wasn't crazy.

I wrote a detailed, professional letter to the customer service email at steamco stating something was wrong. Flavor was not what I've grown to love. They assured me everything was normal, even though I disagreed.

Either way, they wanted to compensate by giving me a replacement GR (which is better than the last 3) and Beaumont Reserve. I told them that would suffice.

Just dropped a $150 order, couldn't hold out for Beaumont any more. :)

2 TGR
5 Sean Lepreconnery (2 bottles are for friends who tried it and requested it, 2 for the boyfriend, 1 for me - hopefully those 2 bottles will prevent him from stealing mine this time!)
Tardis Blueberry
Waffles!
Strawberry Shortcake

Understand that I have NO BUSINESS buying juice at the moment, we are awash in bottles and my Craft Vapery box should be here this week, but the Steam Co. just has such great stuff. :)

Edit: I am most of the way through my bottle of TGR with a 1/10 date. My first two bottles had a December date. You're right; it's good, but it is different than my first order.

Since the topic of five pawns came up, I will note that TO ME gentlemen's reserve taste like castle long RESERVE.... I recently got a bottle of the mixology edition of castle long, and while it is still a good juice, the RESERVE was better, thus imho the gentlemen's reserve is better than the mixology version of castle long from Five pawns.

TGR has the same (or similar) woodsy oaky flavor notes that castle long RESERVE has, which are missing from the mixology edition of the non barrel aged castle long in my opinion.

Hey everyone, I received my order yesterday: The Gentleman's Reserve, The Old Orchard Reserve, Sean Lepreconnery, TARDIS Blueberry, and Pukana La. They upgraded all but the Sean Lepreconnery to 30ml bottles. That was as cool as the other side of the pillow. :)

I dripped all but the SL, just to get a feel of their juices. Used a mechanical with RDA with a 1.6 ohm coil and cotton wicking.

I think they're quality juices overall. They smelled like I expected, had great flavor level, vapor production, and a pleasant enough throat hit at 12mg.

I enjoyed the Old Orchard Reserve the most, followed closely by the TARDIS Blueberry.

The Gentleman's Reserve was coconut city with the almond squatting in its apartment, LOL. Not what I was expecting. Hopefully some steeping will bring the other notes out. I've not tried Castle Long yet, to compare the two.

And Pukana La. I'll just say, there's a reason no reviews exist on the site for this juice. Described as a tropical fruit muffin with a side of Kona coffee, this juice elicited one of the worst reactions from me in my short time vaping. It's just so.......confused?? What was I expecting; the description is a clusterfrack. I'm tasting a coffee I dislike and something else that just......I don't even know how to describe it. I don't drink nor vape enough coffee liquids to determine if this is a Kona coffee characteristic or the fruit muffin component. And to top it off, it has tainted my atty and today has now turned into a bad work vaping day. Thanks Pukana La!!!

Received my goodies today as well.

30mL of Old English Orchard Reserve, Moment 37, and SCDP, and a bottle of Sean Lepreconnery that got upgraded to a 30mL bottle.

Oddly, all but the cap on the Sean Lepreconnery seem to be a bit screwed up, and it's pretty hard to open them lol. Minor nuisance though, as they were excellently packed.

Will give some impressions some time this weekend.

That's been my experience too; they are not easy to get off. Overall while I love the juice I'm not a fan of the bottles. I took several bottles of juice on a trip (by plane) last week and the Steam Co. bottles were the only ones that leaked. Since they also leaked during shipping I took the precaution of putting them in their own ziploc bag and was really glad I did.

I'm hoping it's better than Gambit. Gambit tasted muddled to me. No specific flavors came out just a slightly unpleasant muddled taste. I didn't like it at all.

IMO Merlyn's Bow is much better than Grandmaster. MB has a nice natural banana flavor and a light peanut butter taste. GM tasted like artificial peanut butter and nothing more.
